I did, and sorry for the delayed responses to you & Amey.
although he wasn't up to speed with the old dibbing and pm-ing mechanism, mr couchman was first in with a clear intention to buy and pm-ed me early hours yesterday morning. He came to collect this last night, so this has now gone to a good home. Donation to the forum incoming.
Oh and thanks for everyone's interest. If anyone's up for buying a beater of a bike instead, my thread for a Ridgeback Storm is still alive. (warning - this thread contains less chrome)

This is now sold, thanks for all the interest. Donation to forum incoming.
(Still selling a Ridgeback Storm beater - not in the same league by any means but http://www.lfgss.com/thread122572.html)

Sorry uoeno but it's currently on hold for DanBournemouth who's going to buy in a weeks time. But that's not for the full bike, so we did agree that it's still available to anyone who wants the bike in full (inc freewheel)
So yes it's still available, at 420. Offers for anything less than that won't be accepted I'm afraid.
Cheers

There's a better pic of the dent back on an earlier sale thread, although it's again worth adding that this really isn't anything to worry about (enough people have seen this in the flesh by now for it to have been flagged a problem, but fair enough to ask)

Cheers man. I really dont want to let it go! God damn it.
Can't someone buy my coffee machine and let me keep this bike instead?!

Maybe I should rename this thread the pavoni lovers thread!
Agree with everything written already, I've got a good burr grinder which you really do need to hit the master shot more regularly and with a bit of practice with the other variables.
I did a full group disassembly to give it a clean once it came out of storage and the seals are all absolutely fine, so no worries on that front.

I still can't quite believe I'm selling it, having gone to a major balls ache to get the seatpost sorted and getting it just how I wanted. Allowing the seatpost up a couple of notches sorted out the sizing for me (I'm just over 5'11) and it's a pretty tidy fit now.
It was -still is - my dream summer bike but funds need freeing..Anyway I have a buyer on the line that wants 300 without my additions so unless someone comes up with a better offer I'm hoping this will be gone by tomorrow afternoon.
sounds alright to me. I'll drop you a line tonight and see if I can make the timings work, only because i normally leave central around 5. cheers.
