You can also remove anodising with oven cleaner/drain unblocker or caustic soda (which is the active ingredient in both and found in the same aisles in your supermarket.
You'll still need to polish it as above though.
I recently bought polished and engraved Chorus RS cranks off Tel, needless to say, the pictures don't do them justice (with and without flash).

Cranks are C-Record era: 1st gen. Athena, 1988-91.
Maybe £30/40 difference between the two ***if ***you were parting-out, but much less on a complete build.
On a straight Nag without a matching groupset, I don't see much difference: it's the frameset that is the jewel and I'd warrant that most potential purchasers will be looking to fit a full, period group anyway.
