I am far from tech-savy, but have been happily using various different distros since Windows 7 or 8 pissed me off enough to make the move.

The contract is between DHL and the sender, not the recipient, so I imagine it's the case with all couriers.

It's not as if you could prove you're the intended recipient, without the sender's help.

I expect it's also down to DHL rather than BikeDiscount, that the address can't be changed once it's sent: the time and expense to track down a parcel in the system, would be considerable.
