To hijack this thread slightly, my GF is thinking about taking up cycling to work. She is based on Theobald's Road and needs to find a safe route south west to head toward Trafalgar Square and then along Millbank.
Any suggestions? Most of the roads around there seem really busy for a new cyclist (think High Holborn) or one way.
Cheers

Genesis Zero 3 (which I've tested and is nice / a good size).
Pros: Fits, looks nice, well reviewed and lightweight frame, I can have a matching winter bike (Equilibrium), can trade in a scrap bike to get £100 off (let me know if you have one that I can buy!)
Cons: Pricey for what you get in terms of kithttp://www.londonbicycleworkshop.com/94148/products/genesis-zero--3-105-2015-matte-black.aspx
Or Cube Agree GTC SL
Pros: Better groupset and marginally better wheels than the Genesis
Cons: will have to hunt one down to try it (through Cycle Surgery probably), a bit of a snore brand?FIGHT!

Huh by the looks of the piece I passed about 10 mins after this happened - didn't see anything in terms of aftermath though. Hope everyone's alright. There were loads of cyclists at that junction today - I feel like I'm having to re-learn commuting by bike after winter due to the numbers (mainly checking for people trying to under take!)

Have a bike that you want to get rid of and you're near Putney? Hit me up!
After any sort of shed dweller of the worst order. Doesn't have to work. Doesn't need to be a specific size. Requires two wheels.
Let me know! If it's totally non functional, the closer to Putney or Twickenham the better :)
Willing to pay a little (a very little) if needed but we're talking proper scrap bikes here... I'm looking to trade it in for some money off a new ride.
Thanks

I'm wondering if the info I was sent was right as an XL frame would surely be huge (I'm 6ft 1 and have ridden 56/57cm frames in the past). I'll have a play with the calculator that you linked to!
Mosquito is completely the wrong end of town for me so I'll try to pop into Moores to see the frame in the flesh.

Excuse my stupidity - had a Specialized BG bike fit recently and this is my current fit:
Saddle height (BB centre to centre of saddle): 770mm
Saddle fore/aft (saddle nose in relation to BB centre): 85mm aft
Reach (saddle nose to bar centre): 560mm
Effective reach (saddle nose to hood centre): 700mm
Drop (saddle top to bar centre): 75mm (although you have dropped two spacers since) [this takes it to 85mm I guess as the spacer is 10mm]So how do I go about translating this to a common geo chart - say the one for the Genesis Zero:

Or the SuperSix:

Just trying to make sure I understand what stack and reach etc to look for when shopping around - I know there is fine tuning to be done with spacers and stems, so I guess it's just a case of getting the closest to ideal and then dialling it in...?
A thrilling update - I actually made a decision and got a Zero 3. First impression is that it's a rocket :) Mega stiff compared to my Equilibrium and generally a very smooth ride. Need some crabon cages and to start saving for wheels and other carbon fancies too.
Really enjoying 5800 with a semi compact chainset too, makes a lot of sense for Surrey roads. Might need to think about a wider range cassette for the Alps trip I'm flirting with...
TLDR: new bike day.
