Pretty sure MW would fix that buckle for free (well the US postage would have to be paid but, I think, only one way). My son had a superhero day at school a while I was away and needed straps for his costume. My partner cut them off my MW Vandal ('You never use it!'). They sorted the damage. To the bag that is. The damage to the relationship was obviously terminal.
I have another thing I bought on here and that suffered other bad luck, I told them it was a present so didn't have receipt. That, I think they even paid the postage both ways.

I can't see £390 worth of bike here.

Maybe I've been Manchurian Candidated by eBay, but Montello frames alone seem to go for 500 upwards. Though I suppose not knowing about the wheels and not fancying the group on there, I'd be kind of paying that for the frame anyway (if you get me). Anyway, it's not been snapped up so it seems you're right.

Does this seem magnificently/suspiciously cheap? Can anyone tell the approximate year from the somewhat blurred photos? I'd like to have some idea of clearances.
Also, as someone who rides a 54cm frame, what are my chances of stretching onto a 56?

I'm trying to remember where I found a route map that went from Nunhead (or maybe that's just where I picked it up) through some nice country rounds in Kent, to Meopham and ended in Rochester. I think someone had posted a link on here maybe three years ago. It's not the one that takes the Thames.
