Hi everyone,
My partner's son has moved on to a luath 24 so time to move this on. It has been great as his main bike for the last couple of years, and I believe is the best option to intro younger riders to drop bar bikes of the available 20 inch wheel drop bar options. As with the luath this is technically a ‘cross’ bike with canti brakes and the option of nobbly tyres, although these are not included in the sale.
Bike has a 7 speed microshift gearing set up, good condition kenda tyres, it’s all working smoothly. Was serviced not long ago and had new chain and new cables throughout. The funky yellow/red bartape is fairly new as well. Collection from E5, you’re welcome to come and view/try it out

My single speed daily hack has been stolen, so I’m going to build up a replacement from what I have in the loft. I have everything pictured and some tektro town/flat bar brake levers. I need:
- some flat swept back town bars (vo belleville or similar)
- quill stem, shortish
- ss freewheel - 15t or thereabouts
- chain
- pedals, any plain boring flat pedals will do
- brake cable(s) + housing
would like but less urgent:
- I would prefer to have a rear brake as well as front. Front is a campagnolo athena and would be lovely to match it, but I don’t mind
- wald 137 basket - had one on my stolen bike and have a RAL bag that fits in it...
- some flat swept back town bars (vo belleville or similar)

Came with another set of tyres I bought from here, seller said they came fitted to a bike he bought. I was going to but them on a 26” wheeled bike I had before I shifted the bike, now they are just taking up space in my hallway. They are completely un-cycled on. Good looking option for a budget retro mtb refurb? Collect E5

Stolen from Clapton yesterday evening my tokyo fixed s2 single speed. Can’t find a photo of it in its current cockpit set up, which is velo orange belleville bars and a small front wald basket, and it has a fizik saddle, but otherwise the bike is the same as when I bought it from here - this is the sales thread https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/377250/#comment16579537
Not many of these frames about, this is a 49cm with a chromed fork. Let me know if you see it come up for sale anywhere ... -

I bought these 2.1” lucky stones - https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/391110/#comment17174788
but I don’t think I will use anymore. Yours for £10 if you pass on the bbs -
Some additional photos - as you can see it is 3x8 deore drivetrain with deore thumb shifters. Wheels are tiagra hubs laced to drc mt17 italian made rims. Bearings are smooth on wheels and both are very true. Rims aren’t new but loads of wear in them. 1.5 inch Schwalbe city jet tyres also have plenty of wear left, but I also have a new set of tanwall tyres to throw in which are wider. Saddle and pedals are specialised. Cranks appear to have been machined down also to make them shorter - presumaly to avoid toeverlap, be able to go through potholes etc. The bb is pretty low to the ground. Next time I go to bike shed I’ll take measuring tape and check full measurements. Any other questions in the meantime just hmu

Oh yeah thanks that’d work fine - how much do you want and could you post to Clapton?
