This is how raspberries work. They are either primocane or floricane, which describes how they fruit. If they fruit on last years growth, I think, it’s prune (in winter) the canes which fruited the season just gone as they won’t fruit again.

If you know the phone passcode you’re fine. If ‘someone’ has changed/forgotten the passcode you might need a computer/visit an Apple Store.

If anyone’s in Dorset over the summer, the Thimble Inn in Piddlehinton near Dorchester has a lovely selection of things on their vegan menu. Also Feed The Soul in Godmanstone is well worth a visit for great coffee, homemade kombucha and cakes.

Haven’t tried asparagus but very keen. Isn’t it a bit late to be planting crowns? Will they get established well if planted now? Wondering if it’s worth it with this offer or if it might be better to wait and get them for planing in early spring next year. Any thoughts?

It worked for ground elder for me. Every time you see the leaves, whip them off and after a while it doesn’t come back. Will work for most things I reckon, just requires a small amount of effort and patience.

Just found the Cathedral City vegan cheese, most realistic cheese-y thing yet. Very close to cheddar, from my memory of it anyway.
