it is on the rear but not the front, it's only just started to go, from my experience it doesn't take much for it to wear. considering the tyres, I'm pretty sure are original and theres still the mould seam through the middle, it won't have had a lot of use. plus the front chain rings don't appear to have much wear, or the hoods.

A.S Gillott road bike.
25" 653 Reynolds frame made by Mark Joynt who it turns out is Mark Reilly, for some reason he changed his name but is the same bloke from omega and enigma who has now set up as Reilly cycle works.
It has a complete Shimano 105 groupset fitted from around late 90s era. So hubs, pedals crankset, headset, gears and brakes are all matching 105. Stem and bars are Cinelli. Turbo saddle.
Wheels are Mavic ma40 with stainless spokes and 105 hubs.
All running really nicely and super smooth.
When I bought it it was in a bit of a state, the chrome chain stays we're rusty and when I tried to clean them up the chrome flaked off. So I have them as polished bare metal and have sealed it up with auto sol polish, which has kept any rust at bay. The drop outs are chrome still and the chrome forks are good too. Just for some reason the chain stays didn't last.
The red paint looks dirty up close, it appears to be stains. I think this bike was laid up for years unloved so has cosmetic marks as a result.
Lovely to ride now though!
Tyres are Hutchinsons, they're the old tyres, which are usable and I have been using for a while now. Really could do with replacing though.
£250
Frame is 25" seat tube and 23" top tube. So it's a biggun!
I am in Brighton, won't be dropping in London or posting but can bring to Brighton train station which is 50mins from London Victoria.

Fausto coppi Torino, aluminium frame steel forks, sora group set, rigida rims, itm stem, bars and seat post, sells itallia saddle.
Fairly basic but rides really nicely and pretty fast. Would make a good deliveroo or fast commuter bike. I just use it for blasting about on.
23" seat tube 22" top tube.
£220.
I'm in Brighton, can bring to Brighton train station which is 50 mins from London Victoria.

Koga Miyata Prologue. £200
It's from the mid 90s, Dutch import, one of those bikes that have spent about 10seconds on the road and the rest of the time in the shed.
It is pretty clean but does have marks associated with having been sat around for a long time unused such as small spots of rust around lugs and superficial scratches.
I don't think it has had much use as it looks like it's on the original tyres and there's hardly any wear to the anodised rims.
Has shimano 500ex groupset. Wolber tx profil rims and wolber tyres. San Marco rolls saddle. Koga fm1 frame tubing and hm2 forks.
23.5" seat tube, 22" top tube.
Rides nicely and is all ready to be used.
I am in Brighton, not in London, I'm not dropping it in London either but can bring to the train station here which is 50min from London Victoria.
