^^^ i have a campag hub mavic box rim wheel with campag cassette, from late 80s and used about 100 miles if that, really nice condition if that suits?
i am after a pair of road calipers, just for a beater bike on an orbea aluminium frame, so modernish but dont need to be anything special, just usable

My friend had her colleagues bike (2014 boardman comp cx in blue/black) stolen, she was borrowing it, i had told her to get rid of the rubbish lock as it will get stolen...
borrowed bike stolen, told about the crappy lock, old enough to know better, lots awkward silences at work today...
was taken from Sussex university campus (lent it out to her husband who had a job there so its even more awkward).
if anyone notices it, please could you drop me a line, it looks the same as the pic below, the only distinguishing features that i recall are wear marks around the seat tube/top tube/seat stays where the lock had been kept.

My friend had her bike (read that as colleagues bike which she was borrowing) stolen from Sussex University campus the other day. I wouldnt be surprised if it was stolen and taken up to London, i have heard a few times this is what happens around here.
its a boardman comp CX bike, similar to the one in the pic. the only identifying thing that i recall is that the lock was wrapped around the seatpost/top tube/seat stays, so there are some wear marks around there.
if it crops up please could you drop me a pm, would really appreciate it.

freedom bikes on George street are always good for getting odd parts off with no messing about, just go in and they usually will do it there and then. i dont often get stuck but when i do i see those guys. never costs more than £5 either, thats for getting off odd fitting cassettes and stuck in BB etc

dunno what model they are to be honest i just grabbed a pair and slung them on. its not worth thinking too much about. they stop punctures and grip well enough. i hammer the shit out of mine and theyve proven to be good all round tyres.
i would change the tyre because of the reason already stated... theyre white//

stick it on the back, all that will happen is the tyre will go flat and youre maybe a bit stranded and have to walk home.
i personally use gatorskins and slime tubes on my hack bike, as i ride on an undercliff a lot and theres flint everywhere. no flats yet. also use continental ultra sport tyres on another bike for the same run probably many hundreds of miles now and never got a flat yet with them either.
i would change the tyre but not because of that little split
