I too found them to come up on the small size. Could of done with an extra inch or so.
I've worn mine most days over the last three weeks and haven't felt the need to wash them.
The elasticated pocket edges are a pretty good idea imo. I find in some of my thicker denim skinnies that getting stuff out my pockets is difficult because the pocket lies tight against my leg. The elastic means I can get my to my phone/ipod/small hard object to throw at a taxi much quicker and easier. especially in gloves.
The pockets are very deep so the endless crap i seem to carry round fits in well and I don't worry about anything falling out after being worked up my leg from the movements of pedalling.
The high back keeps me much warmer from drafts and the doubly thick denim at the seat is very comfortable on longer rides.
The D-Lock holder is very good as to too is slightly elasticated so is snug. Although it is on the wrong side to where I'd usually hold the lock which is annoying.
Overall I don't think they are quite worth the 80 quid retail price but I don't regret buying them. I'd fo sho buy another pair. Luckily with them being so durable, It won't be for a while until I need to!

I still need:
109mm BB
silver crankset preferably 48t. don't wanna spend more than about 50 quid.
silver bullhorns. cheap as possible for this one.
silver 80mm quill stem. this too must be very cheap.and finally whats turning out to be the bane of my life.
silver (preferably) 28h 700c clinchers.
I live up in York so would need everything posting.
Thanks in advance!Oh and here is a link to the build thread if you are interested:

Haven't done a great deal on the bike lately. Been searching for some rims to replace the tubs. I wanted silver but there is nothing in 28h... not cheap anyway.
Was thinking of getting a couple of mavic cxp 22s and spraying them silver. seen a thread on how to do it properly. If i can be bothered to do it like that anyway...
http://www.lgfss.com/thread5431.htmlAnyone got any suggestions of any rims they can think of in 700c x 28h in silver?
Before I attempt this and get bored halfway through... -

Upon deciding that I don't want to take my treasured rod brake triumph to uni with me, I'm gonna build a fixie (fixed gear whatever you prefer).
I've started with a Raleigh Clubman Frame I picked up for £30.
Obviously it wasn't in the greatest of nick but with a bit of a scrub down of some surface rust and a respray, it'll be looking pretty decent.I've also got an old cream Bernard Hinault turbo saddle, DMR V8 peddles (what would i need to respray these suitably as they are blue atm?), and recently a pair of Suzie Pro Max Hubs laced to Fir SRG 30 rims.
This said, I don't fancy having the tubular rims so these I'll replace.
I don't have an endless supply of money and the bike isn't going towards being the prettiest thing ever. It will be functional and set to a budget... ish. ;-)

Hi all,
Having bought a pair of wheels off here in the last week, I've come to realise that not reading can lead you to make silly mistakes. The rims on the wheelset are tubulars which is fairly inconvenient for me.
The hubs are Suzie Pro Max 28hole
Does anybody have any rims of that spoke count? Or any recommendations on a suitable, reasonably priced rim. Thanks very much!

The hubs I have are 28 and i really like them. Suzie Pro Max. But they are laced to Fir SRG 30 tubs which are no good. :-(
And also for some reason I appear to enjoy making my life difficult with these things!
I'll check out BLB and the cxp22's look perfect too.
Thanks!
