Ah you're going mainland. I've stayed in Jordan TST a few times and liked the more local feel of the mainland side vs the island.
If I was moving there, I'd be considering:
where my friends live (or colleagues, if you dont have anyone out there)
where my work is
Proximity to park
the way to get to the beach
proximity to my local street market
Good wonton shop
Good coffee shop*I should add a lot of expats live on island side and my family are in north point so I've only 'holidayed' in Jordan.

Tokyo, I've been a couple of times and everything I ate was just great. Their fast food is on another level.
Stand out memory is Maisen. I didn't luckily have to queue but it was SOOO good.
At the end, when you're stuffed, they bring out a scoop of gelato. The one I had was "summer mandarin" - I was like, oh i can't fit more in but had a taste and !!!mind blown!!!.

Dark marks are a diff matter! I have a dark ring on my current coffee table without any luck. I've left it there as it doesn't really matter as I have shit all on the table and is covered most of the time!
