Not strictly. The verdict of the hearing was based on the idea that the officer didn't put on his sirens and blues [bullshit] and that I ran the light of my own accord.
They took the officer's word over my footage so it was never shown whether it is legal or not to go through a red when directed to do so by an officer.
In future I will be as conservative as possible and not. What a motherfucker. I didn't pick that up on the other thread!
Interesting though, I've rolled over the stop line plenty of times getting out of the way of a siren. So criminal.

If you thought it would be unsafe you did the right thing. I'd also argue that if you look behind and see a truck on fire flashing it's lights and sounding it's horn, then going through on red is fine too.
Didn't Chung get done for this? Turns out it's only a courtesy to get out the way and you're never meant to break the law to facilitate it.

Maybe it was because I saw the accident scene last night but on my ride home today all I could think about were those that have recently lost their lives and also just getting myself home safely. It was a pretty emotional ride as I went past 3 of the accident sites. I felt truly vulnerable for once. Almost as if there was this dark energy out there just hovering over all of us.
Anyone else feeling this right now?
For sure. I get all antsy if I don't hear from my lady because she cycles and I assume she's been run down.
In short, I feel vulnerable like never before!

Me for being an idiot. Took a blind right hand turn leaning and at pace. Wet leaves in blind spot. Ripped bibs, bent bars and twisted saddle, road rash and a touch of bruising. Feel like a plonker but im fine.
Car stopped and put his hazards on and helped me up. Nice guy.
Ouch! HealTFU soon.
I'm steering well clear of leaves at the moment.

That was me - forum trailer too...
I'm glad you didn't DAS me with the trailer :)
