How am I doing in the fantasy league? Finally some downtime after riding in some fierce sun en France. Escaped to a bar to watch le Tour today. I see Sky got smashed up the other day, look forward to seeing it. Am I allowed to be cynical about Schleck? Contract being re-negotiated for a lower wage and suddenly he's found some form? May have been discussed, only get Internet fleetingly here
What's your team name?

Ok, here's some photos of the 99% finished bike. As a tribute to everyone who thinks I'm a puppy killer, me and my girlfriend took a ride out to Southern Cemetry in Manchester - biggest cemog in the UK - and snapped some pictures.
btw I'm a rubbish photographer, I tried to do the fancy shots like you guys seem to manage, but er, yeah, here we are.

He was thinking he was close enough to be a GC contender that the real favourites would have to chase him down and give his team leader a free ride. Seems to have worked out pretty well, with Valve in pole position for the only available podium spot.
Agreed. Any team with some riders who can climb not attacking Sky are the ones to be questioned.
I guess Porte thinks they should be allowed a free ride to Paris. Cos they're Sky.
edit - I just wanna see more of the same from Quintana please. See if he can pop Froome on a climb.

You Sky haters really do get yourself in to some peculiar positions - hoping they will be beaten by a team that has a proven and unrepentant doper as its leader.
Never said I liked Valverde.
I was a Sky lover until Froome revealed his inner-cunt. And others seem to have become riddled with arrogance and tosser-itis.
Nowt peculiar abuot hating on a tosser.

Porte reassures me that, in a complete turn around from 2012, I am quite right to now despise Sky.
Giving Quintana a little bit of verbal in the interview, on the Movistar attack - "What was he thinking". Oh just get fucked Sky.
I really hope the Movistar team and others can attack this bunch of cunts.

Kinoko Cycles are running a competition - Join our league on the Road.cc game (77131) and we'll be giving prizes for whoever is in the top 5 each week. Additionally, if you have the most points by the end of the Tour, there is going to be a MASSIVE prize up for grabs...
Get involved chaps, I know you're all pretty clued up...
Have joined.
Will the league only count points from the day I join? (As in, I already have 200+points, but they don't show up in the Kinoko league)
EDIT - all my points seem to show now...fyi

You can et a ratty but high quality 531 track frame for under £100 as long as it's not from one of the really big name builders - Jackson's, Mercian etc. Have you got a parts bin of stuff to put on it or are you looking to buy a whole load of components too?
Got some parts, like brake caliper & lever, bars. Major costs will be frame, wheels, crankset.
To be honest the budget isn't strict. Just a not too pricey target plucked out of the air.
But yeah, 531 not too flash track frame is what i'll be looking for. But i'm not sure what names to look for, past the recognised builders like the ones you mention.

Most hated ad at the moment is the iPhone things in which they say:
'Every day more people listen to music on their iPhone'
&
'Every day more people take photos with their iPhone'
Oh really.
More than what?
Basically you're telling me that people take photos and listen to music on their phone. Every day.
Shite.

I stripped my fixed side and have been running a fixed cog on the freewheel side for 6 months now, added a brake for safety but skid on it daily and have had no problems, yet...
'Scuse my ignorance, you work in a bike shop don't you? My brain is associating your name with a bike shop.
I got a front brake on the bike. But (a) riding freewheel again after fiver years fixed is totally freaking me out (b) despite having a brake, it just doesn't feel safe.
The first Artcrank Poster Party to take place in Manchester happens this Friday **12th July 2013
**Details here http://artcrank.com/manchester
Basically loads of designers & artists invited to create one off limited edition cycling themed posters. Come see the posters, drink beer and mingle with other two-wheeled types.
Me and a friend were invited to do a poster for the event, we're only allowed to show sneek peeks for now ... but here's a taster.
Ours will be a limited edition of 30. If there's any left after friday I'll post up full pics here.
Should be a good event anyway, starts about 7pm at 2022NQ on Dale Street in the Northern Quarter.
See you there...
