Looks nice. Well Done
Soo... how do you use both, rear bottle cages, on the rollers, or when travelling at the speed of light ?
Water in One, Iso drink in the other, or a tool-kit ?
Thanks.
The bottle cages stay on at all the time, whether on the roller or on the street.
Usually water in both, but when I do switch it up, one will be water and the other will have Optimum Nutrition's Amino Energy stuff. When I do ride out on the street I have a lil Bontrager bag with spare tubes and stuff.

God damn I love that pink Langster. Almost as good as superjoe's pink Bridgestone.
I like it too, just don't like the seat angle.

Tell me about that.
Why not lay down on this couch?

No.Not THAT kind of get away, at work I am in front of a computer all day. I get home and do homework in front of a computer for hours, it's nice to stare at other shit besides a computer screen.
Yes, yes I am. So Rebel it hurts.

Whatever anyone ever says, this is right:
Fixed, 1 caliper brake min.
Free, 2 caliper brakes min.People can do whatever they want but if you insert your teeth into the back of a taxi don't expect sympathy or an insurance payout.
I doubt that will happen. Not only because the traffic here is calm, but because I rarely go out on the streets. -

What if your cat walks infront of you and you simultaneously roll off the rollers?
No pets.
Why do you need 1?
*blown your mind. Pow!
Because ...........(see reply below)
One of these things is not the same as the other....
The previous bike, the one I pulled the wheels, crank, stem etc, was used to occasionally go around the block. Solely to get away from the family and home work. One brake is fine for the type of riding I do when I do take it out on the streets.

How fucking hard is it to just have another brake? My crosscheck is going to be fixed with two brakes.
How fucken hard is it to understand I dont need another brake to ride on rollers?
Not feeling the need, and actually having the need, are two different things.
Remind me again why I need two brakes for riding on rollers? -
I have never insisted on ronly unning a front not a rear brake. But I chose the front because the brake cable was easier to route and I liked the simpler look.
Not exactly sure why everyone is getting their panties bunched, the bike is not even a week old. Most of the stuff on in was recycled from my previous beater build. A new front brake is on the way and as soon as I make up my mind, a new stem, handlebar and brake lever will be ordered.
The build may progress to a different direction, I may run a rear brake and go fixed. I don't know yet. I'm not opposed to two brakes or rear only brake but so far with the stuff I had laying around, this is how it came out.

I understand that, but I may not have gotten my point across right perhaps. I ride mostly on rollers, work and school only leave me free time to work out late at night. Instead of going out in the streets at 8 or 9pm, I use the rollers.
When I am on the streets, its in my neighborhood. I honestly dont feel the need for two brakes.

That's bollocks, you should have some control over the rear wheel whatever speed you're at cos if you have to stop quickly you're just going to somersault with that setup. It's pointless.
Ill think about it ..........
Nice looking build tho.
Not bad for a budget build right.
You should definitely have a back brake if you're travelling at the speed of light.
:-)
In that case flip the wheel round and ride it fixed.
No, I like coasting.
I may be building an Affinity Kissena soon, that will be fixed.
Don't change crankset because you need a better bb. Just get a better BB when you current one is worn out.
Not only the rear brake might be a good idea, but it would also mean you have a lever to put your hand on...Let me get this straight: you use rollers to condition your legs to fetch some milk round the corner?
The crank is a SRAM S100, it uses Truativ's proprietary Power Spline design. This bike was just built a two days ago and I used a new bb. Still has a ticking sound to it like the old one, by old I mean 4 months old. With no other manufacturer making a Power Spline bb I can't choose another. Which is why I want a crank with a square taper design so I have a wide variety of bb's to pick.
Something like that ...... more like condition my legs to go down the street to my friends house.
Be nice Cedy, be nice. Cycling to the nearest corner shop round the corner could be a very hard job.
It is my friend, it is.
