This is a great bike but the dimensions look a bit weird to me...the steep and long headtube combined with a short wheelbase and an almost slammed stem. I know you said before that you don't like the look of spacers with the fat headtube, but wouldn't a shorter tapered headtube with an external headset look better? Not trying to be negative, just curious about your ideas of the design.

I've been wearing Vans sneakers for the last 20 years or so because they are one of the only shoes brands that fit me well and they fit with the fixie skidder image I'd like to have.
But... I have the feeling the quality of the shoes has been really declining over the last years, I wear out a pair in a few months now.
Does anyone else have this experience or have they always been shit quality?
