@I_am_Hingis
What is working for me....
Zero alcohol/junk food/takeaways
Every day...100gr muesli at mid-day and an apple in the evening. 3L water
On cycling/trainerroad days (3/wk) 2x chicken breast and 125gr rice or 2 flour tortillas and salad, plus recovery protein milkshake and 2:1 energy drink during ride if I think I'll need it.
I'm not "counting calories" but for my own interest and so you can maybe compare to yourself I just did as accurately as possible count my total calories inc protein/energy drinks = 7800/week
And according to strava burnt on average 1400/week. -

that's the trouble with kg's...doesn't sound much does it 0.5kg?....but that's 1.1 pounds.
If you could lose 1 pound/week.....happy days.
Go oldschool...you know it makes sense :)
I convert my weight to Stones, pound, kg's....you get even more milestones.
Anything to maintain interest and encouragement.
As smallfurry said 30kg's...wow what an achievement...get 30 litres of water in 2 or 3 buckets....feel the weight of that...fully appreciate that you are no longer carrying that weight around...the reduced strain on your back, joints and heart...its just win win win.
Also you are very near to being just 75% of the man you were !! -
So all you people who are firmly in.....
what's your response to this?

can't find it listed as a current product on their site....maybe it's no longer manufactured?...which would explain why many places seem out of stock on certain sizes.
http://www.tokenproducts.com/sorry no other tech info....except that it feels like it has more engagement points than the eno....
but for me the 1/8th was the most important thing. long term surely matched components are better....i'd just spent £180 on campag pista and £55 on izumi ST chain....so eno wasn't a consideration for me. The token was the only 1/8th I found .....apart from a god awful dicta....it wasn't even round!!....and i had to literally cut it off. -
I had some probs as you wanting to use 1/8th S/S
I've used this for several yrs without issue.https://www.evanscycles.com/token-1-2-x-1-8-chromo-single-speed-freewheel-EV222320
only prob is getting it off...found that a Rohloff cog remover fits perfect.

Thought I'd join the fat club.
A little history first.....I'm 57yo 6ft average build with skinny arms and legs....no real reason for me to be over 12st max.
I retired early back in March 2014....so lost my daily commute of 17mls.....still did a bit of riding but the weight piled on.....just because of lack of activity not over eating/drinking.
In fact I don't drink....well hardly....Anyway....July 2015 I was simply a fat bastard.....205 pounds, I thought enough!!
Over next 3 months I lost 42 lbs....very strict diet of just 125gr muesli and as many apples as i wanted per day. Didn't feel particularly well or strong but I lost a shit load of weight, which was the goal. Needless to say....it all went back on again :(
So I'm back on a more sensible diet....ish :) and more bike riding and trainer road.
My long term goals as regards riding/fitness are an FTP 3W/kg and to get my 10ml time to the VTTA std for my age......both someway off at the moment :)
But I think they're both realistic and achievable.15-Feb 215 pounds
17-May 198.6 poundsMy weight loss stalled at 206 lbs for most of Mar/Apr....I'd forgotten the importance of drinking plenty of water, once I started back on 3L/day the weight loss was almost immediate.

Well yes there is that :) .....but that's the difference between a £2200 frame and one costing a third of that. Of course you have to be careful what you buy...that's where the effort come in.
There's also deals to be done on new 2014/5 framesets if you look around regularly.
Pauls Cycles in Norfolk is always worth a look.
Until very recently a 2015 team evo hm frameset 58cm was available for £750...absolute bargain.
56cm still available

Just for info.....I just bought some...only one ride so far....smaller and easier to set up than BB7'S...but have to say i'm totally underwhelmed with the braking performance.
I'll see if they bed in at all....and try different pads...wishing I'd built wheels with braking surface and stuck with decent rim brakes now. Discs are great...but probably hydraulic only if these are anything to go by.
