Hey All
I did advertise the bike here a few months but wasn’t any interest. So tried evilbay/gumtree/marketplace, again no interest. So have removed from them all, dropped the price a fair bit and wanted to try again on the forum. (hopefully this is OK)
I’m looking for £300
Located in Camberwell Green/Peckham, London. You’re more than welcome to come and have a look/test ride on weekday evenings and weekends.
This has been my commuting bike for the past 6 years. However, I’ve moved jobs and the new company doesn’t have bike parking and I really don’t think it will last long being locked up on an East London street everyday.
Please take some time to review the description below and the pictures. The frame as been ridden for commuting in all seasons. It has been kept in my flat overnights/when not at work, so has been kept warm and dry.
The frame is certainly not perfect, there are: chips in the paint work, flaking paint around the bottom bracket, and a large scrap in the paint on the top tube (where someone was trying to steal it out of one of those double height racks at the station).
I’ve taken as many photos as I could to illustrate but if you want any other photos, do let me know.
(https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Y5zCX_tK5MicCsJ1HmZzoRtkAz6jK3hr?usp=sharing)Please note a few components differ from the photos: 1. Saddle included is the Sella Italia Flite (not the Brooks); 2. Bottle cage not included.
Do let me know if you have any questions.

I didn't do a thread in the end, as it took so long to source everything. There were a couple of surprises along the way - turns out the chap you bought it off had a few things wrong. It's actually a 2009 Compact 57.5cm, which explained a few things. Super happy with it, definitely a titanium convert now.

I can't stress enough that you should take it to a professional framebuilder/welder, if you do. The absolute last thing I want is for it to break on someone whilst riding.
Its a 59cm.

I'm 5ft 11 and had it setup with flat bars and a short stem. -

This frame is not suitable to be ridden! There is a crack around almost the entirety of the seat tube.
This ad is purely to see if anyone has any interest in repurposing into a clock/furniture/art project/etc… before goes for scrap metal
It was a Surly Steamroller. Black. No decals. Also the seat post is fused.
Free to anyone who wants it.
Pick up only. Camberwell/Peckham.
