I think it will not work if it is from an old cassette. I tried that today and I had to buy a single speed conversion kit. The sprockets from cassettes have 2 different teeth to allow the chain to change between sprockets.

Does anyone have a 20 teeth sprocket for cassette single speed conversion that you could bring to Canterbury?

If I buy or use a spare a single speed converter kit that any of you could have, would it work with a 9 speed chain? Do you have one for any chance? Otherwise I'm afraid I might not be able to play ...
