This might not be the right thread to ask this question, but I was wondering why teams are seeded in stead of randomly order in tournaments.

Does each player have to sign up in podium? Lot of people can be in that situation

taking into account the team-by-team result twice in that particular case doesn't seem to be wrong to me. But that's just my opinion anyway

yes but to sort teams with same points it is more realistic the result between their game IMO. That's what they do in lot of professional leagues.

You can be a good team that doesn't score lots of goals but yet win lots of games. Or just that they doesn't try to score as much goals as possible against weaker teams ... So yes, it is true it is an indicator but I don't think it should be the second indicator after games won.

But anyway, it doesn't matter now, the rules where set at the beginning and next year we can discuss that.

Slow down there, buddy. First of all, based on goal difference over the season, you have little chance of winning that game. If you or your cheerleader Kevin would like to put £20 on that, I'm down.

Second, if Hemlock beats Pubes you end up in fifth place, where, based on your goal difference, you clearly belong.

That's true, although I think the first way to sort teams should be the result between them in the game not the goal difference.

Great game yesterday, so fun to play and what a tight game for the first two chukkers! A same Phil's seat post broke in the minute 2 of the second chukker.... I would have been a really tight third game! Well done Daredevils, you really got it in the third chukker and we couldn't stop you guys. You well deserve to win this league. Thanks to Adan and Maddie for reefing under the rain.
