Not a paint job. It is copper, with some premature ageing.
Though anyone with a keen eye will have noticed the patch visible in the Thomson stem that was missed.
I did in fact notice the patch revealed by the stem, but that was more copper-y looking, where as the body of the frame is more obscure, most've been lovely in the flesh.
As for the track ends, they look bizarre to say the least, different though.
And I agree with brooks/formation face, strange combo, but in by the looks of it 75% of all bikes there where donned with a brooks!

No need to apologise. I think the answer's been covered now, but yeah, basically because it used a 10mm pitch, any given ratio looks smaller than the usual half-inch pitch. The idea was to save weight as all the parts are smaller.
What I meant was that literally every time a picture of it is posted, someone pipes up to comment on the 'lame' gearing. Same thing now with the EC90 track bars that have the grippy finish on the lower part. Which was my original snarky/dumb/convoluted point.
Cheers fellas, knew I'd find a comprehensive answer on here, I always wondered why some people ran really small looking ratios, makes sense if you're worried about weigh though. Bars IMHO look better tapped anyway, and you don't have to explain ti everyone that you're not trying to look hipster!

The most irritating situation, to know some prick is wandering around with your saddle...fuckers! The thing with brooks saddles is that try will get stolen at some point if left somewhere in London, especially if you're locking it up everyday. On a different note both of demons bikes at bespoke bristol, on of which won best track bike, where fully kitted out with atomic22 bolts, and it looks the business, obviously the beautiful frame contributes to that aswell!!

Hey all, really sorry for all you guy's losses, but there is a great solution to protecting yours from theft.
It's better than locking it with a chain, as it can't be cut, and it also looks nicer. Heres the link to their website, btw not advertising, merely showing you guys something that could help and thought it very relevant to this thread.

If you want anymore pic's just ask, I have them and they work a treat, i.e. my saddle hasn't been nicked yet! -
