As I'm sure you're all aware it's the BCC SuperMad on Sunday at HHV - http://www.lfgss.com/events/792/
There will of course be the awesome racing, cracking beers and incredible jerk chicken to behold, drink and eat.
But if you like a rummage for a bargain I'm getting shot of all my old stuff (50's to 90's) for a £5 per part. Half goes to the SAVE_BC campaign and the other half is required for my wedding fund...
Everything will be on sale on the day alongside the BC shop, bar and coffee stand.
There are some photos below, but there is a bit of everything there and there are some real quality bits in there.
Any questions please ask.
Cheers
Rob

It's just because the organisers have a real commitment to post track pub time isn't it @colm89 ?

Bit harsh on Sam, I think he's been doing a cracking job with the results tbh.
I agree that advance entry's for track league isnt preferable at all, I don't think there's an easy answer to track limits in races/cats either. it will probably have to be a 'see how it pans out' exercise for track league.
For some of the opens and races like the Roadmans it's a bit of a killer though :(

I have no idea how they intend to work it or enforce it. Sign on would seem to be the most sensible way of doing it, but then it favours people who can get there early, which is prob not fair on everyone.
I also heard that they want it upped to 40 though.....
Tbh at the moment the only cat it would affect is b's at TL (which is no bad thing) but you get some big fields for open meets and they're relatively 'safe'.

Just put my name down to go up and get measured up for one and fulfill a long term aim.
It seems like a reassuringly thorough process. They ask that you put a whole day aside to go up and get measured up, get to know them and for them to understand what type of frame/complete build you're after and what type of rider you are. They've asked that I take my current bike up, shoes kit, the whole lot, so they can see what the status quo at the moment is. You also go through all the decide possible options - tubing, paint etc. (I'm struggling with the paint choices at the moment...)
Then its around a 7 month wait, give or take, for the frame/complete build to come to fruition.
I'd drop Gareth and email if you're keen as he is very helpful and explains the whole process very clearly.
Roll on 29th June.....

Might see if I can sneak away from the admin to ride some of the support races on the day. will have to see how it goes though.
In other news @mrs_socks is getting a top notch coffee stand sorted so its looking like we'll have all bases covered.
I might even empty my parts bin and do everything for £5 with 50% going to the club.
Hopefully we'll get weather like we had on Wednesday too.
