Exactly the same thing happened to me the other day, on CS7, long story short this guy desperately wanted to get past me into the blue box because the front car was indicating left, moaning "you're in the way, you must move forward"
a) if you're that edgy about a car indicating left, just drop back
b) there were 20 bikes at the lights, I guarantee the driver knew we were thereWithout looking I knew he'd have a bell, as we all pulled away I said "ring your bell, you'll sound like even more of a cunt"
"Cock" I heard him retort a little further down the road.
I think we were both right.
If you were in the cycle lane but there was space to move into the box, why not?

I realise that this is an absurdly long long shot (but I'm casting a wide net!) - I managed to lose my Garmin Edge 705 on the Dun Run (somewhere after Sible Hedingham, probably during an ill advised sprint up a hill) and would love to be reunited with it. Apart from this bit of misery, it was a great ride, although (whisper) I did it with gears this year.
Someone found one! https://www.facebook.com/groups/DunwichDynamo/?hc_location=stream

Never remember to take many pics, probably 'cos I'm not very good at it, but I got a few at London Fields and 2 on the beach...

I did not enjoy the last 20 miles. Partly the endless wind and drizzle, partly the fact that I thought the route was 123 miles long, partly the ligaments around my knees screaming but mostly the fact that I'd been holding a shit in since about the half-way mark and was in danger of spraying everyone behind me with excrement every time I got out of the saddle.
Never been so pleased to see the giant pile of toilet rolls in the beach toilets! That aside, I enjoyed myself in a mixed group of fixed/gears that attempted to stay together and cruise at a leisurely pace but ended up sprinting 10-15 miles then stopping. Either at the top of a hill for the gears or at the bottom for the fixed... Not the most ideal of strategies!
Didn't have my cap on but spoke to a few forumengers at the end waiting for bus E and enjoying the comedy lettering routine - Howard, a girl with dark hair and a tall skinny chap.
Worst bit: The last 10 miles where I was cold and wet, trying not to shit myself and expecting another 10 miles afterwards.
Best bits: The people standing along the route and variously chatting to/cheering us and feeling as though they'd closed the (wonderfully smooth) roads for us as we swept along in the dark.

What's the original version of this song called? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3hplRpOdOXE&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D3hplRpOdOXE
It has the same woo woo bits and one verse with an incredibly deep voice... -

6 weeks goes quick. Book it!
We'll see, I'm all out for spending this month (already haha).
There is something incredibly satisfying and also reassuring about riding your bike around and knowing in your mind "my bike is set up as perfectly to my body as it can be".
You won't ever have thoughts like "hmm, maybe if I twist my cleat a bit and move it back it will fix that niggling pain I get in the side of my knee", and then do it, and then the next time you ride you get a new pain and think "hhmmm, maybe I went too far, or maybe i went the wrong way. I'm going to change it when I get home". Then you go home and change it, then you get another pain and you think "hmm, maybe I had it right the first time and I've just made it worse, I'm going to move it back again".
The cycle never ends Fuck all that. Get the fit done. Take shit loads of photos of your cleats and bike afterwards and know you have something proper. And when you get pain, which you will because injuries happen no matter what, you know you need to work on your body, not your bike.
Just my opinion.
I know what you mean - I felt that way after the initial fit but it didn't involve cleats, so I think not having them perfect and doing a lot more riding than I had been has caused some bother. I also have a feeling that riding my other bike with a different Q (MTB) has exacerbated things. :(

Fine, I'll take my custom elsewhere.
