I went for a first ride with Hackney CC, 43 miles round some lovely/brutal lanes.

I've just got a new bike and now my feet hurt. It's a kind of numb ache towards the outside of the ball of the foot.
I'm using the same shoes and pedals (SPD) as previously, so not sure what has changed... Q factor maybe? The old bike is a mountain bike and this is a road bike.
Will moving the cleats around sort this out? If not what can I do? -
