I don't know, it's hard to describe... I am not claiming anything in terms of different steel qualities, and I didn't write that comment to open a debate, it's only a personnal opinion from my riding experience :)
I'd say it is a very stable bike, smooth but not too flexy and very fast. For instance I had a colnago master olympic that was the exact same size but a bit longer, It fell completely different, more stiff I'd say. Same from my bianchi mega x pro, quicker to accelerate but more demanding at high speed. -
My new commuter!
A ciocc from the 90's in columbus EL-OS. I took all the parts from the previous one, which was a bit small, a bianchi mega X pro in deda zero HT steel.
The details: Shimano RS80 C24 wheelset and a dura ace 7700 groupset, 9 speed, almost complete except from the ultegra 6600 cranks (that I find way better and stiffer than dura ace 7700 cranks).I've had a few different steel frames of great quality (columbus genius, slx, deda zero ht, reynolds 531, 653) but I must admit that this EL-OS easily surpasses them all :)

Hi,
-Campagnolo Croce d'Aune rear and front derailleurs. Sorry I don't have pics of the front but I can do some later, though it is in excellent condition. Rear works perfectly but has many scratches. Please note that on the pic some part (cable stop) is missing but I have it so it's complete.
Yours for 45£

Two big updates of my merlin extralight and my colnago master olympic.
Both now have full carbon forks!!!

The previous one on the merlin was crap (threaded aluminium), replaced by look hsc3 forks, and the precisa on the colnago was slightly bent, replaced by columbus muscle forks.
One pound less on each bike :)
Merlin is full dura ace 7700 except for the ultegra 6600 crankset, wheels are shimano c24 rs80 with veloflex master tyres.
Colnago is a mix-up of 10 speed campagnolo with ksyrium ssc wheels and conti GP tyres.

Finally I found some time to fit a proper stem to my marcarini (had to sand it down a bit cause the forks only accepts 22mm stems). I did this so I could put compact bontrager ssr vrc handlebars.
And here is an update of my ciocc with corima aero wheels
