Yea those welds do make me happy I have to say. The groupset choice was more a case of what I have than anything else (and I like shimano!)
It is 9kg as is with the worlds heaviest wheels not helping that figure. Im hoping for about 8.5kg with the wheels that will go on eventually. I don't think thats too bad considering the 105/tiagra mix

So I recently brought a De Rosa team. I think its a 2004/5 model (if anyone knows any different please share). Aluminum with a full carbon fork.
The plan is to build it up to use as a race bike/fair weather ride. The groupset and wheels are coming off my current bike to try and keep costs down.
Known spec:
Front derailleur: Tiagra 10spd
Rear derailleur: Tiagra double 10spd

You want something like that I imagine. The shrink tape should give a good fix, as it will set the carbon tight.

That is going this weekend. Dont have a carbon saw/cutting guide so am going to take it to LBK to get that sorted.
