Can recommend these, am using them right now while snowboarding. Think you’d struggle to be cold in them, did ok in -18°C today!

That’s my reasoning. As Såsen says, lots of happy customers as well as a few quality issues, all of which seem to have been promptly resolved by Marino, their go to behaviour seems to be to just build the person a new frame foc. I suppose a few issues are to be expected as they’ll build whatever the customer wants and not everyone specs a realistic geo.

Oh and they won’t do straight lines, only powdercoat fades which judging by a few examples on their insta won’t look too good. So single paint it is, just have to decide which.

Nice project! Seconding Sküllys words on that dynohub, even the most basic shimano ones last forever. I wouldn’t open it up though, bearing adjustment is very difficult to gauge because of the resistance in the dynamo. Just build it up and enjoy the light.
