Ideally something around november would be good. I was ready to start taper for amsterdam but it all went tits up so I wouldn't mind keep the momentum and find something a bit later.

Is there any nice marathon in the UK before the end of the year that might be worth doing?

I normally don't eat anything for anything less than 3 hours. I bring something when it comes to marathon distance. Mainly because it's only a race distance that I never hit during training and therefore it means it's time to get those extra calories/carbs in.

I registered but it's very likely I won't be able to make it so I can transfer.

I am doing Royal Parks too but I've the feeling it will be another busy one. It's exactly 2 weeks before Amsterdam Marathon so the goal is just to take it easy and have fun.

I would like to try my first ultra in 2014 and I was looking at the options for a beginners friendly 50 miler. Does anyone have a suggestion to spare? I am tempted by SDW50 or NDW50 since they're not far and I roughly know the areas. It seems like the organization is good too and some here mentioned it already in this thread.

Who knows a place in London where I can go and find some formal vegan shoes?
I am supposed to show up at a wedding next week and I can't find anything to go with a black suit. My last resource will be a brand new pair of Vans authentic in black but I'd like to try at least to find alternative solutions.
