Those brakes are pretty good, I used a set for a while and never had any problems.
I incidentally just got a lovely yellow JW frame, although it looks as though it may be a repainted colnago. I was going to cut it up and make a bamboo bike out of it as it has a severely damaged seat tube, but I'm starting to think I should get it repaired instead!

I have a sugino 26.6 seatpost, but unfortunately I am too short/my frame is too large or whatever, which means for me to be comfortable the fluting must be partially inserted to the seat tube which means it doesn't clamp quite as tightly as it should do. So, I will trade mine for similar w/o fluting, or will buy one! Thanks!

explain Brand new rear wheel for screw on freewheel: £15, would it work on a 120mm spaced track bike I intend to run a fixed cog on it

It doesn't have the reverse thread for the lockring, so I wouldn't advise it for you. It is a very low end wheel which would be ok for a beater single speed or perhaps 5 speed block, £15 is what I paid for it new (albeit discounted).
