yes.
tbh though UTFS. There are plenty of threads on this and articles on various websites. Most come to the conclusion that I gave you. Even the pros just ride what they are sponsored by as the quality difference between em all is negligable to non existent.
hmmm, most assuredly, why I came looking for "closer to the earth" experiences :P
how does one shift down on drops (ignoring the fact that being on drops is for more speed and not less ahah)
can you multi-shift on Campag (see what I've done there Mr B?)? -
yawn.
I use Campag and have always done on my bikes cause i like the shifters and it looks awesome, and well...its Campagnolo....
Shimano and Sram each work just as well as Campag.
They each have different shifting mechanisms to each other which is really the main/only noticeable difference. Try some out at a shop and work out how they shift and which feels most comfy on your hands...
Thanks. that thumb shifting mechanism, is it the only way of down shifting on the Campag sets?
This is as old as the Internet.
Maybe a bit younger, come on :P but still a valid question all the same
It is in these parts too, but I insist it's Campag.
will adjust ;)

AHAHAH!!!! Seems a fun read, will ninja'rit on my wife's kindle
Oh and the answer is always Shimano.
But why?

Hello.
In your experience what rolls best on road bikes? Shimano or Campagnolo?
I've heard Shimano is like swiss clock in-tune whilst Campagnolo is noisy an unprecise, and also heard it the other way round.
Myself, never had Campagnolo. Always did use Shimano. From my first MTB to my first road bike (Arabesque) to my late road bike with Shimano 105. None where noisy (well, the MTB one was, but then again was a supermarket bike :P)
On my newest project I got the deal for a nice Zonda wheelset, but it came with campy hub body. The comparisons started, prices, weight, beauty... but push comes to shove, what I want is something that works (after tuned ofc) and can take the stress
Veloce would be the equivalent to my 105?
Bottom line what would, what do you prefer? Campy or Shimy?

Aaaaand I just got THIS reply:
*Senor XXXX
I thought you were spanish or south american, i wasn't wrong but maybe you are brasilian, so forgot my email in spanish.
I think you have a Losa frame with columbus tubes that we use to modify and make them gilco-like, or colnago master-like.
It is very rare a losa piece with those tubes, we still have in our lab the tools to modify them:)I'm sorry i cannot tell you if they were columbus SL or others.
Cordiali saluti

If you could use Google then you'd have spotted the 'translate page' option. Then you'd have been even more confused. Mainly 'cos it says 'Donut' all over their page.
AHAHAH so that's why I see many "donut-race" this and that around my searches xD
so far no replies on the inquiries sent to krapf related websites or users of other forums.

tbh im on this one with hippo.. he links to their effin website for christ sake.. how much more info do you need..?!
i don't actually speak German, and I did search for info on site, but not much exist. I am assuming you mean the site http://www.krapfradsport.ch/index.php?action=show_design&seite=bikecup of course, where they don't even list their name as available product, nor did they replied to my enquiriesYou sound like a spoiled kid zell
because you know me so well, and you have a productive input in the matter.Ask for help and then have a go at someone who actually tries to assist, the fuckin' nerve.
Anyway, I've punched a pensioner and kicked a dog so I'm a little calmer now.
You might also want to contact these guys: http://www.swissbicycles.com/
thanks, I've directed some enquiries to them as well. And don't confuse things, I merely asked people from here for their own knowledge on this matter. No offence mate, but Google i can use as well ;) -

Hello.
I've been searching the web for this brand/builder and cannot find one piece of information. As the word is swedish for cancer it seems (Oo) so it may very well be some information jumbling around the google searches, but I haven't found any.
I found a frame with lettering saying Krapf, in a champagne colour, ridged top-tube and chromed fork. Any one has any info on this brand or builder?

Didn't know they already had full groupsets. Only knew of brifters and derrailleurs compatible with Shimano
Yes, my fishing rods use Shimano ahah
this is starting to get out of hand with laughter. Keep going, it's friday. So Shimano is in the lead, followed by Sram and then Campag.
Now to add wood to the fire I'lll follow the suggestion above: Alloy groupset or plastic (aka carbon) groupset?
