Oh man...words cannot express what happened to me after eating these. The Gummi Bear "Cleanse". If you are someone that can tolerate the sugar substitute, enjoy. If you are like the dozens of people that tried my order, RUN!First of all, for taste I would rate these a 5. So good. Soft, true-to-taste fruit flavors like the sugar variety...I was a happy camper.
BUT (or should I say BUTT), not long after eating about 20 of these all hell broke loose. I had a gastrointestinal experience like nothing I've ever imagined. Cramps, sweating, bloating beyond my worst nightmare. I've had food poisoning from some bad shellfish and that was almost like a skip in the park compared to what was going on inside me.
Then came the, uh, flatulence. Heavens to Murgatroyd, the sounds, like trumpets calling the demons back to Hell...the stench, like 1,000 rotten corpses vomited. I couldn't stand to stay in one room for fear of succumbing to my own odors.
But wait; there's more. What came out of me felt like someone tried to funnel Niagara Falls through a coffee straw. I swear my sphincters were screaming. It felt like my delicate starfish was a gaping maw projectile vomiting a torrential flood of toxic waste. 100% liquid. Flammable liquid. NAPALM. It was actually a bit humorous (for a nanosecond)as it was just beyond anything I could imagine possible.
AND IT WENT ON FOR HOURS.
I felt violated when it was over, which I think might have been sometime in the early morning of the next day. There was stuff coming out of me that I ate at my wedding in 2005.
I had FIVE POUNDS of these innocent-looking delicious-tasting HELLBEARS so I told a friend about what happened to me, thinking it HAD to be some type of sensitivity I had to the sugar substitute, and in spite of my warnings and graphic descriptions, she decided to take her chances and take them off my hands.
Silly woman. All of the same for her, and a phone call from her while on the toilet (because you kinda end up living in the bathroom for a spell) telling me she really wished she would have listened. I think she was crying.
Her sister was skeptical and suspected that we were exaggerating. She took them to work, since there was still 99% of a 5 pound bag left. She works for a construction company, where there are builders, roofers, house painters, landscapers, etc. Lots of people who generally have limited access to toilets on a given day. I can't imagine where all of those poor men (and women) pooped that day. I keep envisioning men on roofs, crossing their legs and trying to decide if they can make it down the ladder, or if they should just jump.
If you order these, best of luck to you. And please, don't post a video review during the aftershocks."
I was driven to tears by this!!!!!!! -
Hello.
I've been searching the web for this brand/builder and cannot find one piece of information. As the word is swedish for cancer it seems (Oo) so it may very well be some information jumbling around the google searches, but I haven't found any.
I found a frame with lettering saying Krapf, in a champagne colour, ridged top-tube and chromed fork. Any one has any info on this brand or builder?
I'll try to take some photos this weekend to show you guys.

Hello.
A friend of mine just got a ST64cm Mercier (yea, that big ahah)
He aims to restore it to it's prime and asked for help to try and ID the steel the frameset is made from (pure curiosity as the sticker is all but torned out) and decade. Has no serial that we could attest, and has a jumble of components. Below the link of some pics of details in the bike.http://www.flickr.com/photos/zellrainbow/sets/72157635961590346/
Any help is appreciated.

Might also be worth checking out a couple of other British brands; Enigma and Genesis.
Enigma: seems nice but on another level. Will explore a bit more for drooling purposes.
Genesis: The equilibrium bike is just... WOW. Titanium or 725 Reynolds. Wicked price for the steel one. But one thing I don't get... would I be able to purchase one from the web or not. The shop has only clothing and such :/ sent message with enquiry through site and FB

Well there you are.
Pick a number you're happy with and claim for that. After all, you're not going to be able to get the exact frame you lost but something equivalent.
Indeed. UK has such variety to choose from, and such beauty it almost hurts me with joy.Now only to cruise/fight my way through the red tape of the insurance company

Try a few of the larger British based manufacturers who still work in steel; e.g. Mercian, Bob Jackson, Argos, Woodrup, Condor, Brian Rourke. They all have websites where they'll list their prices.
wow... took so long writing the reply it logged me out... and I had a lovely run down on the builders... dammit..
got the Reynolds number for the frame i want at least, seems its the 725.
Bob Jackson they are a beaut, but mainly touring bikes. I'm not worthy for these yet :P
Condor doesn't seem to actually have custom frame building, but prices ranged from £500 to 900 for my needsMercian, mostly Reynolds. Average price is £1000. Extras are, well, extras with price ahah
Argos has a nice set up.works with both Reynolds (525, 725 and 853) and Columbus (Niobium and Nova). From what i gathered from all the cross-reading the 725/Nova are the best suited for my needs. Price ranged on £1450 (with VAT)
Woodrup has the several options for styles/need of the rides, and a special beaut ahah. Anyway, the best suited one would be the Sportivo frame, with price of £840 plus vat for Reynolds 725.
Rourke had the actual price listing. Only works with Reynolds 631, 853 and 953 and Dedaccai Zero. Price from £865 to 1079.

Hello once again.
On the quest of getting a new bike (you can read roughly the situation on my other thread) I getting many mixed reports over the "steels" around the bike world.
So, I am used to my Columbus SL. It's, was, a fast responsive frame, comnfortable and slim. An all rounder. I am tyold by many that the Reynolds equivalente is 531 and on other reads I get some info on a steel called Tange Prestige. My dad, brother and a friend or other are throwing titanium into the mix just for the lulz I guess.
There are tons and tons of riders here and in this humongous pool of experience I wanted to get your input on each steel. Advantages, disadvantages, your feel, etc.
The steels in case would be:
- Columbus SL (old and new - Niobium I think it's the correct reference for the new)
- Reynolds 531 (and others: 631, 725, 853, 953)
- Tange Prestige
- Titanium (are there diferente alloyes out there? haven't read much on it tbh, so far)
So, who's up for this?
- Columbus SL (old and new - Niobium I think it's the correct reference for the new)

I know. The frame is from the older days. But those brands nowadays do not use steel, they've direccted their manufacture to carbon or aluminium+carbon.
I've found Flandria (http://www.flandriabikes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=custom.tpl&product_id=37&category_id=9) that still makes a version in SL steel (bu the current one, Niobium). But that is one reference, and one is hardly a good measure. I don't know that many frame builders, why I am asking. Not really bothered if they're english or portuguese or spanish or from the moon lol. What I need is reference to base myself on. As of this morning only have the frame unaccounted for cost-wise.

Hello one and all.
Today I come with a perhaps odd query. But the background first.
For the past year I've built myself my baby (my bike). Got a Columbus SL steel frame from an old racing bike, had it painted candy red (FIAT reference) and then around that built it with more recent components (You can check it here on Flickr).
The "bike check(ish)" is as follows:Frameset: Villiger Starling (Columbus SL) / Fork Look HSC-2 (full carbon)
Headset: ??? (no clue but it worked fine. was to be changed when need arised)
Cockpit: PRO VIBE 7S / 3T Ergonova (42c-c) / HTapeFi'zi:k Honey
Seatpost: RG silver (Was waiting on a Pro Vibe carbon for this)
Wheelset: Fulcrum Racing 7
Tyres: 23c Specialized Turbo [Clincher] - kevlar reinforced, slick
Groupset: Shimano 105 5700 BLACK Chainset: 53/39T 170mm crank arms
Bottom bracket: Shimano 105 5700 Hollowtech II
Chain: Shimano 105 5701 Chain
Cassette: Shimano 105 5700 10 Speed Cassette 12-25
Pedals: Shimano m-520 BLACK
Saddle: Selle Italia SLR (Carbon rails)
Weight: 9.1KgFinished it about a month ago.
The situation. I got ran over by a car this past Friday. I am sore, hurt and bruised and burnt (from sliding on the asfalt). But I am ok(ish). The frame did not survive well the duel, nor did some of the components.
The query. The driver is assuming all costs, and will call for the insurance company to step-up with the money. I can roughly assign monetary values to almost all components of my bike, apart from the frame. I don't find that many brands that still use Columbus SL tubing (found Flandria and a few custom made frame fabricators but nothing much else). Would it be at all possible for you guys to know, roughly, me the monetary value on a Columbus SL frame (materials plus work to turn it into a frame), or more fabricators that use it so I cant get a wider idear on values. Current SL as I doubt it's easy or even cost effective to get the old tubing. I ask so I can go the best prepared possible to speak with the driver and/or insurance and it is the quickest possible way.
As an accessory question, I ask what is the Reynolds equivalent o Columbus SL.
Thanks a million in advance for any time spent on this. -
Hello.
I recently bought a bike to make it my FG/SS. It's a Villiger Starling (no clue on history of brand or make).
Pretty much all that came attached (except for headset and fork+frame ofc) is to sell to make up a bit of the investment and to spend on parts I'll need for the project. It came as a component salad.
