I'm hoping we can make it there by 1630. Maybe earlier, depending how long people dawdle when we stop. You could always bail in Lewes, or any number of places along the route. I'd quite like to get back for empties' drinks in the evening too. I think the train from seaford takes about 90 mins, I can't remember.
I might come along for the first hour or two and then head back. If that's okay...
(This is, of course, weather and hangover dependent.)

I'm in for the run but not for the ride (just to be contrary).
I'm going to take the train or something v early on sunday morning, if anyone wants me to take anything (drain rods, chimney brushes, voluminous mary poppins style bags etc) then get it to me sometime before next friday - Old Street or SE London...

May 5, Bedwetters ride to Seaford, meet Clapham Common grassy bit here, DEPART 10AM (bedwetters will be left behind, so arrive at 9:30AM for coffee, pastries, etc)**
What sort of time do you think we'd be in Seaford? I might be in, depending on how long it takes & how long it takes to get back (I have stuff to do in the evening).

Some things that I hate: crowds, tourists, queueing, crowds of tourists jumping queues... The London Eye is not for me. I've been on it about 8 times now too. Luckily my parents took pity on me and said we can do it another time.
Still not coming to the pub though, so this is all irrelevant. I'm going home to learn to track stand.

Cloud 9 Cycles, Camden - thanks.
+2. Went in on Friday lunchtime to get new tires and walked out with lovely London edition durano plus, tubes, tape, and the brake levers I've been after for my old bike. The man working there was super nice too.
Apparently they are moving to Angel soon, which is a win for me as it's nearer my work :)

Coolio, I'm up in Euston all day at work so not too far to go, although I can't do lunchtime as i need to get my barnet chopped and post shome shit i sold on ebay.
Cool, I'm in training so won't be online too much. Get my number off Iain, I think we need to speak to set up the account etc. I finish about 4 but will be about afterwards too. I'm sure we can figure it out.
Loving the team effort. But yes, wars have been fought with less organisation...

also, I think if you're having to stay in friends' spare rooms and on sofas and the like, you're homeless. you may not be sleeping in doorways, but you still have no stability/privacy/security and nowhere to put your stuff.
Completely correct. The legal definition of homelessness is much wider than just rough sleeping. (sorry...I do this kind of stuff for a job)

And it will be quick if you drive as I dont have that many boxes
HAHAHA - I think you should have a read of this.

Hats, I suggest you explain that you have a bowl of Japanese soup with your name on it, and you need to be away by 2 pm. Therefore, if we aim to gather at 2:30, we will be just clear of the lunchtime rush, and able to grab a quiet table.
I have PM'd you my mobile, if you need to order ahead.
Excellent idea. Japanese soup takes priority over marshalling any day of the week, everyone knows that. See you at 2.30!
I've PM'd you my mobile too, in case of changes of plan.
In other news, the bike with panniers is still not rideable so I'll bring a big rucksack for carrying the drain rod sections.

I’m in for tonight, though probably late as I got in to work really late today.
This is assuming I can shake off the terrible bad luck I’ve been having recently. Last night I hit a drill bit that someone had left lying in the road, luckily my awesome new tires were having none of it but I’m getting quite annoyed by this endless string of shitness. Who leaves drill bits in the road anyway?!
