It's annoying though, as so far I think only Bontrager are producing a 25mm tubeless tyre, sure the current Hutchinson Intensive Tubeless says its 25mm, but when I ordered one, it was closer to 22mm!
The 28mm version should be a reasonably robust tyre with a bit of puncture resistance and a hard wearing tread, more grip than a very grippy thing, and very comfortable for everyday riding.

Well these were kind of an experiment to see what worked and how well.
The front wheel is laced 3 cross disc side but 2 cross drive side, while the rear is 3 cross both sides.
I was looking at the A2Z lightweight hubs as possibles as well, but thought the Novatec might last longer.
Also my first attempt at building wheels with anything other than 2.0-1.8-2.0 spokes, as these are 2.0-1.7-1.8.
So will be interesting to see how well I get on with them. -
I'd be interested in what the wheelset comes out at, have you got a suitable means of weighing them?
Unfortunately no, I don't. I can only go by manufacturers claimed weights, which is hit and miss at best.
408g Both hubs
770g Both rims
318g + 10% for extra 30mm - 64 x DT Swiss Super Comp spokes
21g - 64 x DT Swiss 1.8mm alu nipplesEquals roughly 1548g, but would likewise really like to weigh it properly.
But you also have to take into account the fact that these are tubeless ready wheels, so when Hutchinson finally release the 28mm Intensive Tubeless that they said they were releasing this autumn just gone, these will be seriously tidy wheels. -

So, some updates on the weight weenying of my Boardman CX (kinda sounds like the start to a bad joke...).
Finished building up the wheelset, by my reckoning, they should weigh around 1500g - ZTR Iron Cross rims, DT Super Comp triple butted spokes, DT 1.8mm alu nipples, and Novatec hubs, so not doing too bad there, awaiting a new 140g Selle Italia SLR Fibra and some light weight Alligator rotors, have fitted a rather nice tuned Rival rear mech (153g or so) from Oswald, thinking of Ritchey stem and carbon post, and just won an auction for a Hollowgram 53/39 chainset for £190! :D
This is turning out to be a pretty good xmas so far.

This here is Cid, if you called him a sociapath, you'd be getting a lot of rather offended sociapaths banging on your door.

He's a guy who wears his scars with pride, and there's quite a few of 'em too.
He loves just getting out into nature and having a nice relaxing day in the woods... usually at breakneck speed.
He has removable rear V break mounts, disc break mounts front and rear, a relatively new Cane Creek S3+ headset, a Spank Tweet Tweet seat post clamp, and DMR O(lly)W(ilkins) fork that's steel and weighs only 1kg(!), is 435mm axle to crown, which with the extra 5mm from the headset gives exactly the same axle to crown as the forks designed for the Inbred originally and I think works much better (also cost £120 new!).
Anyone's tried an Inbred will know how much fun these frames are, and Cid is no exception.
I'm no longer up to the task of giving him the regular abuse he craves and needs, so am sadly saying good bye, if you think you're up to the task I can let him go to a good (or bad) home and I'm only asking £100, mainly to cover the damages left behind... Price drop, is now £90

Except for the Miche seatpost, 2 red chain links and slightly wrong bar angle.
It's all in the detail.
rear wheel is raised, bar angle might be fine..
True. I think the angle from the stem also makes it look funny.
And the fact that its standing in front a of a load of other lines that are slightly off horizontal don't help neither...

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
A set of Ritchey OCS disc wheels in mint condition, as you can see, the freehub body hasn't been notched or marked at all from the cassette.
I get the impression that the guy who I bought the bike that these came off hadn't used these and I've done less than 10 miles on them, still original grease and won't need changing for a good while yet.
The rims have an offset spoke design for superior strength on the disc side of the hubs, and are 23mm wide so can be used as 29er (with tyres upto 2.1") or CX wheels, as they came off a CX bike.
Perfectly true as you'd expect from wheels that have been used as little as these have!
Come with rim tape, QR, and a 9 speed Shimano HG80 11t - 28t cassette with less than 200 miles on.
Asking £90 with cassette, or £80 without. NOW SOLD

Right, this lovely pair of wheels have ZTR Flow rims, laced with double butted spokes to Superstar Switch Evo hubs, and makes a very strong set of wheels that weigh in at approx 1900g!
Also comes with standard QR and 9mm QR and adaptors for the front hub, rear QR, a single speed cog and spacers, a single speed chain tensioner, and 26" x 1.5" Schwalbe Marathon Racer tyres with very little wear.
This wheelset is tubeless compatible and have run them tubeless, so they come complete with Stans No Tubes rim tape sealing the rims and two valves, although they currently are fitted with tubes.
There is a choice of a Shimano HG80 11t - 28t 9 speed cassette, or a SRAM PG 980 11t - 34t cassette.
Am asking £125 SOLD
First come, first served sale.

Erm, I think they do make a 24h version, I've definitely seen 28h... 24h ZTR Iron Cross
