Loving the carbon Independent on last page big time, also like that its got a gear hanger so can convert pretty easy, although thats nothing new but still like it.
Anyone know what bars are on the Pegoretti?
Am struggling once more to find a bar that works with levers this time, as not liking the Ergonovas.

Really need to buy (/have access to) some accurate scales, know the old post on the CX was about 335g or so and the new Easton EC90 one it's been replaced with is around 200g, but would really like to see what weight I have lost off it accurately though.
Damnit, did you by any chance weigh your Boardman CX before starting upgrading?

I used bb7 mtb with cane creek v levers. it worked really good. i'm building my current project up around that very combo, actually.
AngelD, are you talking about BB7 Road or MTB?
SRAM doesn't feel good and may required Travel Agent, no idea on Campag.
I spend quite a lots of time fiddling with the BB7 with SRAM levers, went for Travel Agent, improved, and later changed to a Cane Creek which work better than SRAM + Travel Agent.
By the looks of it, this is gonna be a bit of a bitch, as I'm using the BB7 road versions with SRAM Apex levers/shifters, so really don't have any options with the levers.
there was also posted a nice guide to set them up properly. I have it bookmarked on my own pc. will post it later if you can't find it. think it was in the 29'er thread.
If you could post the link up, that would be big help, would seriously appreciate not having to trawl through an entire thread!

Anyone had much experience using BB7 mechanical disc brakes?
I've got them on my CX with relatively new Ashima SOS pads and rotors, and still the stopping power is nothing I wouldn't expect from good road callipers atm, and wondering what other people have tried?
Has something like a Problem Solvers Travel Agent been of any help?

Only reason I can think of to ride "classic" drop bars is to get the levers lower and to get further forward when seated into the drops, which kinda makes sense as it looks like most pro riders are riding a size or two too small.
