That is definitely rad...
Just spent load more money I don't have on seat post and rear wheel components. Why do I get this nagging feeling I'm not gonna have much beer money this month?
Have also spent last 3 hrs finishing off polishing my front wheel to mirrored goodness. The fumes and my bad back now require me to go lay down in a dark corner after necking some tramidol and cry myself to sleep!

Will people stop posting Land Sharks here before I garrote someone with a brake cable!
Its not that I don't like them, in fact its the opposite, I love them a little too much, and my wallet will not take another impulse buy and the rent and I don't wanna be homeless!
P.S.- Not really, you can keep posting them, I don't mind too much... just need a spunk proof keyboard.

@nutsjesmoar - That flite looks like a good choice with that frame mate, should do nicely.

I was going to reply yesterday to defend the Thomson layback, but I guess it's a marmite thing.
It's a large, I'm pretty happy with it, to be honest, I prefer it with the paul/open 4 wheelset. I'm looking forward to riding the new bars, been riding the risers while my clavicle has been healing. It's a light bike and it feels quick, especially with the tighter fork.
I ordered one at first for my hack and it was a 27.2mm with about 270mm outta the frame, the bend did look a bit odd, yours is a more substantial 31.6mm (I think on the MASH?) and that much further into the frame, and it does look better, but still not 100% sold on em.
Plus, I want my build to be a bit of a mix of classic polished and black HHSB parts, without being too logo heavy, to compliment the simplicity of the frame.
Just finished removing front wheel decals, really wasn't sure about doing it, but kinda thought "Fuck it..." and it looks good, just wish more decisions like that turned out so well!
Yours is looking fast, nice and simple too, although I have to admit to wheel envy!

Spotted this last night in Rats thread and asked if you were documenting it here, shoulda checked first!
Loving it mate, have wanted to do something similar for a long time myself, but have no experience with brazing, and almost the same with MIG (but would prefer to braze).
Really wish my Dad had been a welder instead of a mechanic/electronics + electrical engineer!

I agree with you that the Wound Ups would look better and they would my fork of choice on a '90s 'Dale frame, but if, in the extremely unlikely avent someone just handed me one and walked off, my first thought wouldn't be 'Bugger its got shit forks on', more likely it would be 'Shit, who's he nicked this off and where's the coppers?'.
