I think the £2k of rear wheel makes it more of a race bike.
I hear you but I just wondered because part of the HHSB formula seems to be wheels or a single component costing 3 or 4 time what your frame / rest of the bike costs...

How do I remove my BB when it's stuck so tight i just did this to my park tools spanner?
As DFP said a vice or a draper FHW32 (32mm) for £5.99. It's a seriously tough tool and it's angled a bit little like a pedal spanner so you can get in there with some propper leverage:
Also you probably know this but the drive side has a left-hand thread, so you have to turn clockwise to loosen - only saying as i've never seen a break like that on a park spanner, good luck.

Yeah enjoyed GBA too but the lead does love a 3 minute rant. Good film overall though.
About to get into The Smaritan looks like it might actually be a good Samuel L Jackson film (shock!).

Any one had any moar luck with this issue? stripped out the LH pedal thread on the way to the G-ride last friday. Old campy strada so bit of a clusterfork really. too fat obvs. :-(
these are cheaper than helicoils and come for left and right pedals.

just need to ream/drill out hole to about 15.5mm screw the correct bush (left or right) onto your pedal and then screw the pedal into the new hole (it'll cut new thead)

No not anti theft paste. If your going to try and sell on a bike / components then you're not going to steal the bike with loads of paint all over it/them.
I lived on an estate in Mile end where a group of kids used to come door to door with nicked and off the "back of a lorry bits".
They'd worked out its easier to get away with nicking and selling on a bike if they split it frame wheels components etc, rather than posting a picture of the bike they'd just nicked on gumtree.
(Yes, I did tell the police but they always had more pressing matters to deal with.)

I think it's more him trying to make it so little b~#tards that nick bikes and strip them of components to sell on gumtree and ebay will think twice.
They'll have anything off a bike in some areas.

Yes I measured the inside diameter of my 2RS and it's smaller than the 4RS.what are the two inside diameters for the original and the one you just bought?
68042RS should be 20mm...

I have an old ish Campag front hub that I need to order bearings for asap.
Any idea what the bearings might be and the best place to get them?most old cup and cone front hubs take ten 3/16" size bearings on each side.
I get my bearings from https://simplybearings.co.uk, and use the loose Grade 10 Hardened AISI 52100 Chrome Steel Ball Bearings for repacking my hubs.
There's info on the site regarding bearing grades - roundness, hardness corossion ressistance and magnetism - under "loose ball dearings" link > "ball grades" tab. So you can make a decision on what you need if you want to choose a different type to the ones I use.
