Hi
I am after, well I am wanting to try, SPD/SPD shoes. I am not a fan of the normal SPD shoes that you see and was wondering an alternative, I have seen the Chrome and DZR shoes but wondered if there are any others and also what they are like to wear.
So if anyone has had some experience with a pair good or bad then please reply.
Thanks

Had a cyclist riding along a poorly lit road in the country, I was waiting at the junction for a car to go passed, could just see that this car overtook him.
So waited and at one point couldn't see him at all, I beeped my horn as there where no lights on the front of the bike, he went passed and gave me the 'bird' to which I beeped again.
The fool had hi-viz jacket and greenish light on the back of the bike. From the front you couldn't see them at all and they blended into the darkness!
I found that alot of town riders think its ok to have no lights on their bikes!!!

9 Servers isn't excessive when 1,500 people are online simultaneously.
4 web servers.
1 load balancer and memory cache.
1 file server.
2 database servers.
1 mailing list server. All run quite warm, and taking out any creates a weak point on the solution.
Yet all could support more... another 9 sites the size of LFGSS, or 100 sites that are really small.
Where are all of these hosted?

This. Honestly, wtf were they thinking? The wear pattern on my brake pads makes them look like lego bricks. Burton, you might also want to tighten your brake cables as well as changing the pads in the interim - if they're anything like mine then they'll be nearing the end of their travel out of the shop. It makes a slight but perceptible difference.
The main thing is to change the wheelset, though.
Yes there does appear to alot of throw before any action on the brakes, will change this when I get home.
maybe not a waste.
your bike so do with it what you want but a tiagra front caliper would be ample and a good starting point.
start there and work up.
replace bits with better bits when they wear out.
Thanks for what I should be looking at, did some searching and found some people have changed to Mavic SSC and SRAM Rival calipers.
This. When I changed the shit Specialized calliper for a second hand £10 Sora I noticed a world of difference. Varno does good wheels for a decent price (use the search), change the shit mondo tyres unless you like punctures, pretty much everything else is decent kit and do what Skive says and replace as it wears out.
The seat Clamp looks abit weak to me, but then if it does what it needs to.
The wheelset is very heavy, and really doesn't show how light the Langster is.
A good open pro/ambrosio hubs wheel make a world of a difference, cheapest set you can get is from Dave Hinde.
Yes I have heard the frame is light, just looked on their website thanks for the heads up on that.

How do they fit then? Are they a true UK 10 size or bigger?! Say when comparing to Nike...
Wish Nike did the Whistler SPD style shoe still..
