As a rule of thumb: yes. Idea being to give you a bit more of an upright stance and increase standover, but individual frame designs will ultimately affect the sizing choice.
But it struck me odd to have that much post and a long, upwards pointing stem. It looks like the bike has been adjusted to its limit to give a suitable position, which doesn't really leave much room for tweaking.
But hey could be a trick of the light or the fact that I just can't get excited about a Cube, sorry.
The stem is that way for general commute (8 degree), I always find it hard to find bikes for the right size, but was told before purchasing this one by another LBS to go for a 58cm frame!!

Ok looks like there could be interest in breaking, once I get my new stead then I will let people know. As need to continue to use this bike until then as it doesn't seem to be going as is..
New bike will be in the shop tomorrow morning, so will hopefully pick up on the way to work tomorrow. I am off on Friday so could start parting then.

Right having to get rid as I need a bike that can go off road, so ordering a cyclocross bike so this has to go.
Its a Specialized Langster 2011 model in a 61cm size frame.
Done around 2500 miles to and from work and the odd ride with friends and family, ridden in all weathers as its my commute bike.
I have added the following to allow for a better bike and was going to upgrade the wheelset and crankset.
Deda handle bars, Stem and carbon seat post along with handlebar tape
Ultegra calipers with Alligator ilink cables
SRAM S900 levers
Pin SaddleBad bits, wheels could do with a service on the hubs and the paint has a few rub marks from locking it up at work.
Also comes with a White Industries freewheel 16t
It is used so not mint but still in lovely condition, collection would have to be from Ipswich
(Doesn't come with the pedals lights and computer)
Thanks

I thought the front one did at first but it appears not.
