What's with all the hating on Gareth? Guy admits where he's wrong, and having followed his youtube videos he's stated he doesn't confront drivers any more and hasn't done in over a year.
Funny they didn't show any of these videos he does: http://www.youtube.com/user/sillycyclists
The taxi driver he had the altercation with that they interviewed looked a prize plum though - "i'd already overtaken him, why'd he hit my taxi?" err, if you HAD already overtaken him then he wouldn't have been able to ... oh, never mind.
(full disclosure, I have met the guy and he's a good bloke)

For some reason I actually kind of like the custom paint job.
Shame that combined with everything else it looks a total dogs dinner.

Sorry I haven't been able to read through the full ten pages yet, but wondered if anyone can help with a spoke length dilemma.
I've got a Ventura coaster brake hub which I want to build to an old Van Schothurst 26" mtb rim off an ageing Raleigh Alaska for pubtasticness, however neither of these can I find any info for on spocalc.
It seems it wants pretty serious sub-mm measurements. Any ideas how I can work out appropriate spoke length?

There'd been a lot of talk of this on the cyclechat forum when members who use cams were getting requests for their footage. IIRC a fair number of them pulled permission when the researchers they were in communication with used terms like 'war', and had to change the rights usage on their videos to Creative Commons so they couldn't use them without their permission.
This programme will be a fucking shitshow that will only seek to create animosity and make cyclists less safe.

I'll be there, although without bike as it's here with me at my mum's house in High Bloody Barnet right now and I cannot be fucked to ride all the way down there in this weather, at rush hour.
Annoyingly I will also be there in cycling shoes and no coat because I didn't bring anything else with me, the twat.

^ this.
There's nothing inherently bad about chinese carbon rims because lots of very high end bikes have them on them. But unknown carbon could potentially be catastrophic.
I'm interested, regardless.
