Sturm & Bradlfettn... I'm from there as well... but live in London since quite some time. Since beginning of Oct I'm at the polo beginners in Peckham... building a bike now for that.

But I found a frame and will start building a polo bike. How is this double adapter thing for the break lever called exactly? Paul, you said, you got it from Evans for £4?
And I will ask you if you got a pair of 26''(??) wheels, tires and stuff you don't need.

Thanks guys. Feeling better with my cut off ski poles. Will try to finish the mallets for tomorrow. Can anyone tell me the size of your pipe bits? 5" seem small, 8 quite long...? But I found everything in the forums...

Aah, Kit... There was advice on some polo forum to make the mallets 33 or 36 inches long - and so I did - before realizing that they are quite short and that that video says 40 inches. I'm a centimeter person, so even worse - and so on. Short version of the story: I messed them up, they are bloody short now and I'm looking for another pair of ski poles to make 40inch ones... Guess that what you call learning from mistakes... So I don't know if I will have them finished by Tuesday really. If anyone knows about disused ski poles, would appreciate it... :)

@Jimmy: Emir Kusturica is that mad artist (music/film) we were talking about.

@Kit - yes, you can have that pole. I will pay £5 for both tomorrow when picking them up, so £2,50 if u don't mind.
@ExTra - let's try it with the yellow one, still can change to the good stuff later on. And nuts and bolts would be great.
