I think I’m fighting a losing battle, I thought about drying some out in the oven but TBH if fails again I’ll be double angry for not just buying fresh.
The gods may also be punishing me for buying a second gas bottle for the grill too. I was tired of returning what I suspected were half full bottles for fear of running out mid-cook when guests were over.
Good job I kept my gob shut and didn’t invite anyone round for today! -

Thanks all, I've been trawling the thread for tips from @HatBeard & @Gewürzt experiments. The Thermoworks gear is on special offer as a bundle at the moment so finally pulled the trigger. Nearly forgot to order the Kamado adaptor but a speedy follow up email came to the rescue.
@aggi Dumb question but does that cable work in reverse because I can find loads of power banks with a 12V barrel output (the Signal control box is USB-C input)? Can't find many battery packs with 12V USB output.

Ok cool. For me, a well fitted shirt and suit is by far the most important part of the show, the other bits are sprinkles. Like @Mr_Smyth said, don't go jazzy socks and jazzy tie. Pocket squares are nigh on impossible to not look a bit try-hard unless plain white.
I like these Shibumi ties

Cheers, it feels good to not be self-conscious of them. Took about 8 months and around £2.5k but paid monthly over a year wasn't too bad. And they're still my own gnashers.
What really stood out was the attentiveness when compared with some of these other alignment companies (and Christ did I get cookie spammed) - there were regular check ups at my dentist to measure the progress, proper x-rays to before anything started, 3D scans of my entire mouth to construct the braces, a whitening session etc. Twice we needed to bin all the sets (you fit new ones weekly) because the odd tooth wouldn't play ball and they absorb all that cost as part and parcel.
Those companies where you bite on some clay and they send you some braces really shouldn't be allowed. The guy who did mine was telling me some horror stories of people left with loads of wobbly teeth because they've been moved too far. -
A few years ago my front teeth were diverging to a point of annoyance and I went through the Invisalign process. Totally recommend it as there wasn’t any invasive dentistry, just a series of braces that gradually move the teeth.
One thing that I didn’t know before was at the end they affix a concealed wire behind your front 6-8 teeth to keep them from wandering back. I don’t notice it now. And you need to wear a retainer at night but I had to do that anyway because I grind mine like a sheep. -

I’ve walked some fair distances in my stability trail runners (Asics Gel Trabuco). This year we did the coast of IOW ~ 80 miles in four days and only had the big toe blister beginning to form but didn’t go full blown. My walking boots weigh a ton and tbh unless I think there’s a chance I’m going to roll an ankle, I keep coming back to the weight saving of trainers.
Also I get terrible heat rash with walking boots.

Bottom has billows fitted although not perfectly sealed as I need to fettle the adapter plate.
I wondered if I had it too closed last night and suffocated it, whereas today the temperature is climbing to 150°c despite no fan.
I’ve burped it to see if that resets the temp.
