might be worth checking they've not taken the wheel and hidden it out of sight hoping you leave the rest of the bike so they can go back for it later.

yep, seems to work well.
the only issue I have is that the chain is probably a link too short to go into the 50/42 so I just have to be mindful of cross chaining.
I think the shifting is better without using the clutch as well. -

I had the misfortune of driving through Alvaston, a residential suburb on the outskirts of Derby, yesterday evening.
