i made the frame bag - first time i've used a sewing machine!
it's very basic but did the job for the trip and been using it daily on commutes for a few weeks.

schwalbe x one bite 33mm - a bit skinny for the terrain really but the widest i could fit.
also tried on a set of 35mm conti cyclocross speed but they rubbed on the rear stays.

would neoprene do the job? or is it too heavy / too flexy / not flexy enough?

have been considering this for my sscx if i want to convert to gears - bit spendy but no cables, no messing with levers, can use any rear derailleur...

tried a 35mm cyclocros speed tyre in the front of my 2015 equilibrium disc - around 1mm clearance either side. too tight for me.

ebb install - bb shell - to grease or not to grease?

are you supposed to grease the bb shell when installing an ebb?
or just the faces of moving parts / threads?

i just took mine out and cleaned it up following a chainring change, but found contradictory info.
(this was on an alu frame charge plug - spec printed on the ebb was 6.75 Nm for the wedge bolt - bolt had threadlock on)
