I was just thinking that. It looks as though the tapered walls would accommodate a range of bicycle lengths. Also the green trim on the background steps would complement a pair of Vittoria Pave tyres.

I'm pretty sure I can't do that with my M106 / Nitto Dynamic combination, although I'm no Chris Hoy. Possibly wishful thinking, but I notice the Dynamic stem is a little bigger in girth than (e.g.) the Cinelli 1A, so possibly a degree more rigid?

I've got a small non-project to report. When attempting to recover a vintage Flite saddle, the leather needs to be pretty bloody thin. Or maybe I'm just crap at smoothing out overlapping creases. D'oh! Upshot is, the Concor's gone back on the Ron Cooper and I think I prefer it (aesthetics and comfort) anyway.

Strong page already! I think I'd have room for both of those. (If one was a bit smaller and the other a bit bigger...)

Nice wheels, but more importantly getting your dog to stand in perfect alignment with the seat tube angle is a staggering achievement. Bravo!

Deep rim Zipps and down tube shifters doesn't gel for me. Also black stem/post and silver cranks. It's all a bit disjointed.

Why would you? Your hand doesn't touch that area. It's an aesthetic affectation IMO.

Isn't the whole bike an aesthetic affectation? It's a stick of rock on wheels. (This is a compliment BTW, although I'm another one who isn't too wild about the Integralter.)

Many apologies, I was so busy looking at the typeface I completely missed the abomination of a saddle on that Chopper up there. How about this one?

Apart from the workmanship, one of the things I like about Ron's frames is the typeface p0rn, particularly the way "COOPER" looks a bit like "CHOPPER", somehow conjuring even more retro charm. Anyone know if it's the same design or is that a happy accident?

( ^ Idea for next Ron Cooper respray/build...)
