^Awesome gios!
(...) I still think that a classic frame, with a vintage groupset needs period bars- otherwise it's like going on the Tweed Run in full getup with a Supreme cap on, backwards.
The actual, period correct bars were a real horrid ergo number from 3T. Don't think they would have floated your boat.

So, that also leads up to a question. Was thinking of buying this in silver, 85 mm to lessen the reach (yeah, one of those people). Would match the seatpost, and apollo did a nice number with a quill-to-ahead converter on his latest. Opinions?

Pina again, this time around with compact bars by popular request -- Soma HWY One thanks to awesome service from Chris Borneo:

Comfy bars, if a little flexible. Still not 100% pleased with the hoods position, can't get that hawt flat bars-to-hoods transition with the shimano levers. Granted, I think that's the lever's fault. See e.g. :

versus

So, thinking of getting SRAMs or tektros if I ever get around to building up a fixed wheelset.

This has had me considering a 32/40 flip/flop wheelset for weeks (VS bolt on cog and single speed conversion rear, have a WI "tracker" front hub waiting to be built up), but can't really find 40h rims in Norway. Plus what to do with the front...
