I've only briefly faffed with teamspeak recently; I've never properly used it.
But yeah, you chose a nickname, connect to a server and then join a channel. @spotter has set up that channel above on the default teamspeak server.
From what I understand, teamspeak servers cost money so I'm not sure if there are any limitations of using a free channel on their free server?

Meet somewhere at 9?
I can do this.
What do you reckon @spotter @salmonchild @Vesalius - Old Fields at 9pm?
Anyone else keen? @CYOA?

Hey @Velocio,
Some escape-related bug in my comment? There's an unwanted backslash after the @mention.

Edit: Oh, same with this comment too.

I just spent some time rummaging through NW airstrip and then headed back to Old Fields. I have an AK101 with about 3 extra mags, as well as a pistol with about 200 rounds. I also have a big ass ruck and a good vest.
I'm off for a bit, but I'm chilling at the top of the castle in Old Fields - good place to start a big meet I reckon. (Unless, like @spotter, you fall off the roof on arrival after making the hour-or-so journey.)

Forgive me if the following bug is already covered. (Is there a bug tracker somewhere?)
I posted a link to a YouTube playlist (not a video) and the forum tried to embed a video that doesn't exist: http://www.lfgss.com/comments/11817341/

Welcome! Check http://dayzdb.com for a map, wiki and various beginners guides.
Also go watch some of RHINOCRUNCH's "Surviving Standalone" videos to get a feel for good team play (as @chrisbmx116 posted a few posts above):

Another 3 year dredge...
I'm driving from North London to Whitstable on the weekend after next. I'd like to pick up a car on Saturday and return it on Sunday. Can anyone recommend anything? We currently have something booked with "A1 Hollway Rental" but would prefer to book with a company based on personal recommendations and experience if possible.

whats that secret euro law that apple pretends doesnt exist except when you mention it?
Shame you didn't get it directly from Apple. I went to Apple with a faulty iPhone 5 after 18-19 months of ownership and they replaced it immediately. It was well outside of the 12 months "warranty" and I didn't even have to ask.

Here's a couple shots of my new V1...

It's pretty filthy after a few weeks of drizzly London commuting; I'll have to give it a clean soon and shoot some more pics. Cheers to @spotter for snapping these ones!

I've lost the tension plate on one (bolt loosened while I wasn't paying attention - but I still have the bolt and washer) and wondering if there is a clever fix? Otherwise I will just hunt for a nut and washer that do the job.
:(
A few people have lost these; I seem to recall @Velocio saying he lost his. I don't think a replacement is available but I'm sure it could be fixed with a nut and a washer.

Yo @chrisbmx116, here's a quick snap. (Excuse the slack chain.)

apparently you can get custom made.
I thought so too but they told me they aren't able to make bolts for my hubs, at least for the time being. They said that Profile security bolts would come sometime in the future when they have hubs to work with.
I think Tom got the bolts for his Chub hubs made however I imagine bolts for the Chubs would be in greater demand than some old school Profile track hubs.
@swedeee From what I understand you can get enough torque for the rear. I'm not sure if they do Goldtec hubs but I'd imagine so, given their popularity. You can find out by going through the rigmarole on their website or dropping them an email; they're very helpful.
Also, there's an Atomic22 thread here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/181639/ :)

I think I'd go for wheels, topcap and seatpost.
That's a good balance of price vs security. :)
Though not sure if they make bolts that would fir BLB king hubs
Yeah they don't make bolts for Profile hubs which is why my wheels aren't secured. Still, means I have to carry two locks so my frame is even more secure I suppose.
Awesome! Thanks very much. This is definitely going to come in handy later.
