A couple of pairs of decent socks. Something to pad your arse out when you fall. You will fall. Preferably a pair of Impact padded shorts for c.£30 from eBay. But a normal pair of shorts (or 2) worn under your trousers, will be ok. Any knee pads you might have, take those. Probably not required but you might want the extra confidence if it's icey.

Or just break your leg on the first day and spend your time in the bar..
