Then in the bike lane over southwark bridge I slowed down as i am coming down the hill to the (red) traffic lights and some wobbly tit on a brompton squeezes through the tiniest gap to get to the red lights first. Plus he didnt hear me calling him out because he had noise cancelling headphones on!

Lidl memory foam saddle cover for about £4 has made my saddle very comfy. Might throw 2 or 3 more on it though as its got to carry me from London to Paris next month

I have to go over a hill 30 seconds after leaving my house that gets me warmed up so even taking it slow means much sweat! The airiness of bib shorts over denim shorts is dreamy!

Felt liberated on my commute home last night, decided to give bib shorts a whirl rather than denim shorts. Went one more step this morning with bib shorts and swapping out a t-shirt for a cycling jersey. Cant be long before I have spent the last of my money on some sort of lightweight road bike and I leave behind the sweet fixeh life forever!

drop daughter to childminders in the car whilst its pissing down, by the time i get home to get my bike the rains stopped, and the newly installed saddle bag stopped the standing water in the road initiating swamp butt.

To the old, fat, fully lycra'd up man who overtook me whilst filtering, only to have cut me up because there was no space for him...that was a dick move, it was also a dick move when you did it 3 more times to people in front of me.

Then he snotted right into my path getting some of your old man mucus on my legs.

I think I'd rather be punched than snotted on. Made me feel sick for the rest of the commute.
