As per title I am looking for a Cyclo gear cable, so I can put gears on my singlespeed tandem.

Have you got the metal oval clamps or the black alloy ones?
The reach of the metal ones, although oval, are not much more longer than the round ones.
I couldn't fit the metal ones so contacted Dia Compe to get the alloy ones as I could not find them anywhere in stock.
They gave me a part number and managed to get them from Billy's.
I've got the number somewhere if you are interested.

No, that is just a washer. It might have been attached to the stem slightly by the paint they used, but it is normal.
Look at this picture. Do a quick Google search and you will see they are all like that.

The headclip stems have a smaller diameter than later bars.

The shaft on that stem could be cut if needed but the reach could still be too short for you.

You can always use a standard 1" stem of the length needed until you find a head clip of the same length.
A shorter stem, assuming it is not too short for you, would give you a more upright cycling position.

Found the cables in a local bike shop.
Unfortunately they only had 3 (2 in black and a silver that I've fitted to my Baines fixed).
Ribbed ones would look fine.

Most of them I would say as the frame geometry was different back then. Top tubes were longer than seat tubes in many cases.

You could always pass it on, or even better, start a new build from it :)

If I find a box I can fit everything in I don't mind posting it.
I'm in the process of moving so I don't have time to bubble wrap everything, but will make sure everything is tight in there.
It is heavy though, around 10kg, so it would be around £18 with Parcelforce 48h I guess.
Let me know if you're still keen and I'll check a box and price.
