£5 price drop now £55 for frame/forks/hs. Need this out of my room!
Should add that I'm fairly sure it's 531 straight gauge, as the tubes have a uniform sound when ringing them with my finger. Is that how it works?
Also could everyone who I've replied to via pm please try to get in touch by tonight, or I'll have to start looking for other buyers again. Thanks!

I should add - I'm having a clearout of this build/previous pub builds. So lots of ratty stuff to match this frameset available in another thread (original callipers, SR seatpost, DA hubs to mavic 27" rims, etc)
Happy to throw in a thing or two or, at least, reduce prices if you take more than just the frameset! Less work for you everyone's happy etc etc

[strike]Hey guys,
Have a Dawes frame and forks for sale. Possibly 531 as it takes 27.2 post and is surprisingly light, no sticker though.

Pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/86540061@N08/sets/72157644750277784/Following spec:
- 55cm ctc seat tube, 57cm ctc top tube
- 27.2 post
- To take 27" wheels
- British thread headset and bottom bracket (both perfect)
- Features pump on top tube, mudguards eyes, lamp bracket on fork, and long, semi-horizontal rear dropouts (with no gear hanger for some reason though)
- Also has original badge which is really nice, and fitted with original headset which could do with regreasing.
Used as a pub bike for a couple of years and that's reflected in its condition. Perfect geometry for commuting, reasonably relaxed but surprisingly stiff/nippy.
Black glossy paint has been touched up by someone else in the past with some thick, hammerite-style stuff (especially around rear triangle and bottom of down tube). Very little rust and virtually no exposed surfaces though. Great as-is for a beater. After £60 for frame, forks, and headset. Dibs then PMs please, pick up around N1/NW1
Any questions please ask.
Thanks![/strike]

[strike]Hey guys,
As per title splitting up my trusty pub bike. Dibs then PM please.

Pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/86540061@N08/sets/72157644336018720/[strike]First Gen. Dura Ace high flange hubs laced to 27" Mavic Red Labels - [strike]£60[/strike] £55
They were neglected when I bought them and further neglected in my ownership. Crusty bearings, some rust and lots of pitting on spokes (hard to photograph), dirty rims. BUT there's still plenty of life in everything, a good ol' strip, regrease, and polish will give you a fantastic wheelset. Maybe even a rebuild if that's your thing (Rosebikes have cheap DT spokes). Original skewers included too, though one of them has a black replacement locknut that works fine but looks out of place. Also, they're fitted with a decent Shimano 17t freewheel (and can accommodate anything up to a five-speed freewheel).[/strike]Shimano Bottom Bracket - £15
Possibly 600. 116 axle, British threading. Great cosmetic condition, some pitting to cups.Shimano 600 Arabesque rear derailleur - £15
Great condition, everything working as it should. Think it's missing adjuster screws though...Shimano 600 Arabesque front derailleur - £12
As above but complete.Shimano 600 Arabesque shifters - £8
Think that a couple of washers or bolts are missing, will have to check.Weinmann Type 730 Callipers (pair) - £5
They're callipers. They stop you (just about). They're long reach. They're complete. They're not in great condition (very dull, a bit stiff, could do with overhaul). They have original pads, but I'd replace them if I were you.SR Laprade seatpost - £8
27.2. Silver and fluted. Somehow has insertion marks right up to the fluting. Nice but in need of thorough sanding/polish. Unless you're sticking it on a beater in which case good for you, you have less work to do.[strike]GB Alloy stem - £8
I like the shape of this one. It's short, 70 or 80mm. 25.4mm clamp.[/strike]Raleigh North Road bars - £5
Chopped by a few centimetres and flipped to make moustache-esque setup. 25.4 clamp. Excellent condition.Shitty pedals - donation to forum
Standard quill pedals, black plates. One spins well, the other is missing it's dustcap and doesn't spin. Come with large Christophe toe clips wrapped in duct tape to stop them scuffing shoes.Old school full chrome mudguards - £12 ono
No idea what to ask for these. No fittings (have some p clips though) and the rear's brake bridge bracket has snapped off. They also have really lovely dynamo lamps, need rewiring though and I'm not sure if they even work. Chrome is in great condition though. Make me an offer!27" Tyres - £5 each, £8 for pair
- Michelin World Tour, 27"x28, treading in perfect condition but v. dirty sidewalls.
- Michelin Select, 27"x28, see above.
700c Tyres
- Pair of Schwalbe Blizzards in yellow. 700x23. Plenty of life left in 'em. £8 for pair.
- Pair of Schwalbe Marathon Pluses. 700x28. Only used for a couple of hundred miles. £35 for the pair (equivalent to rrp of one new).
That's everything. As per usual let me know if I'm way out on anything (not that you were gonna restrain yourselves anyway). Pickup around N1/NW1. Any questions just give me a shout
These all came off a Dawes 531 which is for sale in another thread. Happy to sell complete(ish) for a little less moolah
Thanks![/strike]

Cinelli or 3ttt would be nice, something reasonably relaxed (Giro d'Italia)?- Bottom bracket, French, 114-115mm ISO, around £15

- 7-speed freewheel, 13/14 to 26/28t
Something nice n sturdy, preferably an older Japanese one in decent condition- Racks
Low-rider front, and something solid for the back. For 700c. Silver.- Mudguards
Silver, full lengthJust let me know if you have any of the above/equivalent please

Thanks bud, it is a lovely frame. I ran it with 27" and it had pretty close brake clearances, you might be able to run it with 700s (it just might look a bit weird unless you use mudguards...!)
Really need this gone everyone, think £55 is a fair price? Can't go any lower but happy to work out a deal on multiple purchases in my other thread
