I just do the ilford method, you can find plenty of people online sharing their test results that it's perfectly good enough.
Plenty of people disagreeing as well but it's a bit like if you believe in climate change or not. That's on you.

this is an example of how it's difficult tho, shot at f8 or 11 and the leaves on the left are in focus but everything else about 5cm behind is soft, and even tho it was cloudy and overcast her skin/shirt is overexposed and the shadows are totally black

Obviously no meter and zone focus only but my main camera is a Leica I so fine by me...

That said dof is pretty shallow (the film is a bit bigger than 6x9, so big) and it has shit latitude/high contrast so you need to expose it fairly carefully.

I really like the look when you nail it tho and it's fun to shoot with other people and see how it turns out, give them the photos, etc.

100mm 3.5 for the mamiya press
In 35mm terms it should be equivalent to around 35mm, it feels wider tho

I think mamiya press lenses are the only lenses with a built in shutter that will cover the whole instax wide film (and even then not all of them have a big enough image circle)

I got an instax camera and converted it to take decent lenses
Still need to figure out the viewfinder, it looked roughly right when I tested it with this lens but then actually used it and it's quite far off

He was such a lovely person.

We were not the absolute closest but we had so many rides together, and he always made you feel the best. Me and him arranged to go back together that one DD and it is a memory I treasure. The only time I ever saw him tired, which I consider a privilege, because when did he ever tire on his bike?! And then he still destroyed me on track gearing. Just so cool.

Still lurking, just not shooting much (currently mostly a. at work or b. asleep)

to me those colorplus look like either 1. they're not actually pushed or 2. pushing has no effect on colorplus

or maybe 3. pushed but scanned to look clean rather than pull out whatever the film managed to capture

I pushed c41 a lot when I developed myself and this is nothing like the results I got

For one thing c41 generally goes magenta when you push it and these are the opposite of that

You have to cut the leader to shape

I cut the leader (of multiple films in advance) but you can just slip a business card or similar under it if you can't be bothered/forget. Never caused me any problems.

Just lens flare, the lens has some fungus and I was shooting it wide open.

Thanks. The last two are on tungsten balanced film, I thought about correcting it but decided not to.
Camera is Pentax 6x7 with the 105mm f/2.4.

i always forget how good 120 shot thought a decent camera looks
